📥 Installation

Windows

1. Download FFTARecomp-windows-x86_64.zip and extract it.
2. Run FFTARecomp.exe, choose your Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (USA) ROM and press Recompile & Install.
3. Press Play.

Linux / Steam Deck

1. Download FFTARecomp-linux-x86_64.tar.gz. On Steam Deck, do this from Desktop Mode.
2. Run:
   mkdir -p FFTARecomp-linux && tar -xzf FFTARecomp-linux-x86_64.tar.gz -C FFTARecomp-linux && cd FFTARecomp-linux && ./FFTAInstaller

🐞 Known issues

• In the first level, some sprite silhouettes may appear on screen for 1 to 3 seconds. They don't show up again for the rest of the game.
• The first time you launch the game, the gamepad may not be detected until you open Options > Input and try to remap a button. It then activates on its own.

📝 Notes

• The first installation takes a few minutes while the game is built on your PC.
• The Windows executables are not code-signed, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning.
