Release list
v1.1.0
Which file do I download?
| File | Get this if… |
|---|---|
GiantCursorSetup.exe |
← Most people. Installer: choose your language, optionally start with Windows, adds Start Menu shortcuts, and restores your cursor if you uninstall. |
giant-cursor-portable.exe |
You'd rather not install anything — download and run it. |
How to use it
Shake the mouse and the cursor grows. Stop shaking and it shrinks back.
Right-click the tray icon (next to the clock) to change the size, sensitivity or language, or to quit.
"Windows protected your PC" — is that normal?
Yes, and it's expected. Giant Cursor isn't code-signed: certificates cost hundreds of
dollars a year and this is free software. Windows shows that warning for any
unsigned program downloaded from the internet, whatever it's written in.
Click More info → Run anyway. GitHub publishes each file's SHA-256 above, so you
can verify your download matches exactly what this repository built.
