What's Changed
- Refactoring verbs by @JosePrietoPaez in #3
Full Changelog: v.0.3...v0.4
Main changes
The -d, -m options and default behavior have been split into three different modes, explained in the README.
Default behavior is now direct output, or the single mode
-d, also --dividend, now is the list of numbers to apply the rules within the application.
It will offer a step-by-step guide to applying the rule, or rules if used in multiple mode, for each number given to it.
-a has been removed due to not being useful enough to justify all the design problem it has caused, it might return if I feel I can redesign its implementation.
I have no clue if I removed -n in 0.3 or here, but it's gone.
The behavior of -j has been modified to be more flexible and is now usable in all situations.
length has been changed to be an option instead of a parameter, --length, defaulting to 1, and the base is optional, defaulting to 10.
The divisor is still necessary.
-x should no longer have any weird edge cases where a rule can't be found with the new composite rule type.
It will refer you to the rules of the divisor's prime factors if no better rule is found.
The code has been further cleaned up as well, I have definitely learned what refactoring really is by this point. There is still much left to fix and do.
What now?
I don't know, this should be very close to my hopes for a final release except for a few details, that's why I have decided to make it the pre-release.
With my, hopefully, last year of college coming up literally tomorrow I'll have less time to work on it, and will, most likely, drop it like ExpandedLists. At least there will be some closure here, I'll be satisfied having the app in this state.
Just being real here, I have learned a lot with this application and I hope to finish it and give it the GUI that it needs. But I don't really care too much, this is way more than I thought I would do back before 0.1.
Thank you to anyone who has downloaded or even just looked at this project of mine.
I know there is some traffic, god knows what they do here, because I sure don't, this .
