The first release version of CalcDivCLI is out now.
Main changes
- Changed default behavior to try to find non-coefficient rules, to get coefficients rules use the new flag
-cor--coefficient-rules, replacing-x - Fixed minor typos and error in help documents
- To avoid heavy memory consumption, digit-lookup rules cannot return more than 256 cases, if more are possible, none are returned
- Included base 10 equivalences for converted numbers for easier understanding
- New icon that should be readable, at least
Downloads
Like for previous versions, below are compressed binaries for windows, 32 and 64 bit, OSX and Linux, only for 64 bit.
Self contained versions are heavier, but do not require a .Net runtime, if you have .Net 8.0 installed on your device, consider downloading the non self contained version.
How to run
As this is the CLI version, you will need to start it from a command line, cmd or PowerShell on Windows, trying to start from desktop will cause the app to display help and quit immediately.
On new releases
While more features could be added to expand upon this release, I believe it best to start working on a graphical interface to make this program more accesible given most people don't handle the command line well.
