GoShell v0.1.0 - Initial Release

This is the first release of GoShell, a lightweight shell implemented in Go. It supports basic file system operations and allows running external commands, similar to popular terminal applications.

  • ls, cd, pwd, touch, mkdir, rm, cp, mv, cat
• Utility Commands:
  • echo, clear, stat, chmod
• External Commands:
  • Supports running external commands (e.g., go, python, git)
• Interactive Shell Loop:
  • Command execution with a prompt showing the current directory.

Installation:

1. Download the shell.exe file from this release.
2. Double-click on the shell.exe to run the program.

Usage:

After running the shell, you can use commands like:

• ls - List files
• cd folder_name - Change directory
• touch new_file.txt - Create a new file
• echo "Hello World" - Print a message
