A relay that is not there failed with the dialer's own text, so the
panel showed `GET("http://relay.example/healthz"): dial tcp: ...` to
the user. Log the request that failed and hand back a stable error the
frontend can translate, and let the panel say the same thing for every
way a relay can be unreachable.

A floating menu anchored to a point on screen means nothing without a mouse.
Touch opens the same sheet the modals use instead, and the track menu stops
hand-rolling its own popup to join it.
