Donezo v1.0

Release v1.0 - Dual UI Distribution

We are excited to announce version v1.0 of our application, which now comes in two flavors:

• CLI Version: A command-line interface version.
• GUI Version: A graphical user interface version built with JavaFX.

Both versions share the same core functionality but provide different user experiences.

Running the Application

Command-Line Interface (CLI) Version

Open your terminal and run the following command:

java -jar donezoCLI.jar

This launches the application in CLI mode. You will see the greeting message printed in the terminal, and you can interact with the bot using text commands.

Graphical User Interface (GUI) Version

To launch the GUI version, open your terminal and run:

java -jar donezoGUI.jar

This command starts the JavaFX application. Once the window appears, you will see the bot’s greeting in the dialog box and can interact with the application using the GUI controls and text commands.

Additional Notes

JavaFX Requirements:
For the GUI version, ensure you have Java 11 or later and the appropriate JavaFX modules if your environment does not bundle JavaFX by default.

Usage:
Both jars were built using the ShadowJar plugin. The CLI version has its entry point set to donezo.Donezo, and the GUI version is configured with donezo.Launcher as the entry point.
