Slide Guide — a PowerPoint add-in by Northern Guide. Format and align slides faster with keyboard shortcuts and one-click tools.

Install

1. Download SlideGuide-Setup.zip below and extract it (right-click → Extract All).
2. Close PowerPoint, then double-click Install.cmd.
   • If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" or an "Open File – Security Warning", click More info → Run anyway (the installer is unsigned).
3. Open PowerPoint — a Slide Guide tab appears on the ribbon.

Installs per-user, no admin required. To remove: double-click Uninstall.cmd, or find Slide Guide in Settings → Apps.

Keyboard shortcuts

(only active while PowerPoint is the focused window)

Align left / right / top / bottom	Alt+← / → / ↑ / ↓
Align centre / middle	Alt+C / Alt+M
Distribute horizontally / vertically	Alt+Shift+H / Alt+Shift+V
Match width / height / both	Alt+Shift+W / T / S

Fix Eggs, Select by Type, and Select by Fill are ribbon buttons. Select 2+ shapes (3+ to distribute); the first shape you select is the reference for Match and Select actions.

Requirements

Windows 10/11, desktop PowerPoint (2013 or newer / Microsoft 365), and .NET Framework 4.8 (built into modern Windows). The required Office interop libraries are bundled, so nothing else needs installing.
