Paper Voice 1.2.11 · 更准确的论文朗读
更准确地读出论文中的词句。
- 修复 PDF 字体连字被拆成独立片段时的拼读问题，如
re fl ex→reflex、identi fi ed→identified。 - 完整保留带有实际说明的图号，例如
black arrowhead in Fig. 7A，朗读为black arrowhead in Figure 7A；纯图号和作者年份引用仍跳过。 - 图号中的
7A保持为面板编号，不再误读为电流单位。 - 划选朗读和升级后恢复的旧进度均应用新的文字处理规则，保留原文高亮位置。
已安装用户在插件设置中检查更新即可；也可安装下方 XPI。无需重装声音包。
Clearer narration of scientific text.
- Rejoin PDF ligature fragments using their positions, so words such as
reflexandidentifiedare read as complete words. - Keep explanatory figure references such as “black arrowhead in Figure 7A”, while continuing to skip standalone figure and author-year citations.
- Prevent panel identifiers such as
7Afrom being interpreted as electrical units. - Apply the fixes to selected text and restored reading sessions while preserving PDF highlighting.
Existing users only need to update the plugin. No voice reinstallation is required.
Paper Voice 1.2.10 · 更新后接着听
更新后，接着听。
- 插件更新后保留未结束的朗读：位置、阅读模式、划选内容及剩余重复次数随会话恢复。
- 重新打开同一篇 PDF 时保持暂停，点击「继续」或按空格，从被打断句子的句首接着读；不会自动出声。
- 修复 Zotero 退出过程中清空进度的问题。主动停止或朗读完成后，不会自动恢复。
- 设置页版本号跟随实际安装版本，修复一直显示 v1.2.6 的问题。
已安装 Paper Voice 的用户只需在插件设置中检查更新，或安装下方 XPI；无需重新下载完整包、无需重装声音。
旧版可恢复已保存的最近朗读位置；此前未保存的完整划选范围无法追溯。从本版起会完整保存。
Keep your place after an update.
- Restore unfinished reading sessions with their position, mode, selected passage and remaining repeats.
- Reopen the same PDF and press Resume or Space. Playback restarts at the beginning of the interrupted sentence and never starts automatically.
- Preserve progress when Zotero closes; stopped and completed sessions stay stopped.
- Show the installed plugin version in Settings instead of a fixed version label.
Existing users can check for updates or install the XPI below. There is no need to download a full bundle or reinstall voices. Older releases can recover their saved reading position, but selections they never saved cannot be reconstructed in full.

New reading shortcuts: ↑ / ↓ for the previous / next sentence; Option + ↑ / ↓ on Mac, or Alt + ↑ / ↓ on Windows, for paragraphs; ← to replay the sentence and → to replay the paragraph. Space and Esc still pause/resume and stop. Editing fields and navigation menus keep their normal keyboard behavior. Existing voice packs do not need reinstalling.

Sentence and paragraph navigation now opens on hover beside the reading-mode button. Pause, stop, and translation remain visible. This release also improves scientific-unit pronunciation in all four supported speech languages and skips square-bracket author–year references while preserving surrounding prose. Existing users only need to update the plugin; voice packs are unchanged.

Paper Voice 1.2.7 · Smoother narration across pages
- Skip author–year citations even when PDF text extraction splits a surname into separate ligature fragments.
- Skip identifiable figure captions beside or below images, including caption columns, and continue reading the body across pages.
- Remove complete figure-reference lists with Oxford commas, such as
(Fig. 1Ba, 2A,B, and 3A). - Preserve scientific parentheses and PDF highlight alignment.

- 自动识别 PDF 的英语、中文、日语和法语，在本机离线朗读；也可手动选择语言。
- 中文默认男声 Yunxi，日语默认女声 Tebukuro；记住每种语言的音色选择。
- 单句／段落模式选中一个词，也会读完整句／整段。
- 悬浮译文按钮随目标语言显示「简、繁、日」等标记；单击切换语种，双击关闭译文。
- 重新设计中英文 README，将使用指南与真实界面截图整合在一起。
升级提示：使用新增的中文、日语、法语声音，请重新下载对应系统的完整 ZIP，运行一次「安装声音」，再更新插件。旧声音包仍可继续朗读英文。

Paper Voice now detects and reads English, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and French offline. Mandarin defaults to Yunxi and Japanese to Tebukuro, with your voice choice remembered per language. Sentence and Paragraph modes expand a selected word to its full context. Click the translation button to cycle languages; double-click to hide it. Translation controls reflect the target language, and the bilingual README includes a complete illustrated guide.
To use the new languages, download the complete package for your computer and run Install voices again. The earlier voice pack still supports English. The .xpi updates the plugin; updates.json is used automatically by Zotero.

English · Bilingual controls and native installers, illustrated guides, and cleaner narration. Recognizable publication footers, compound figure references and author–year citations inside mixed parentheses are skipped while scientific explanations are retained.
Existing users only need the updated .xpi or the built-in updater. There is no need to reinstall voices. First-time users should download and extract the complete ZIP for their platform.

全文连读新增「从选定位置（句首）」。在 PDF 中划选一个字母、单词或句子后，从其所在句的句首开始，一直读到文末；跨栏、跨页的句子会回到完整句的开头。选区旁也可直接点击「从此句开始连读」。

Paper Voice 1.2.2 · 跨栏跨页跟读与稳定译文
修复同一句话跨 PDF 栏位或页面时，声音已经继续、视口和译文却留在原处的问题，同时改善译文稳定性和图表标注过滤。
- 在实际栏界、页界切分语音；页面先定位，再开始下一片段，当前高亮与译文同步切换。放大阅读时也会横向移动到右栏。
- 跨栏、跨页仍使用完整句子的翻译；最近进度记录实际播放到的页面和片段。
- 滚动/缩放时译文短暂淡出，停稳后一次定位并淡入；不在中间位置来回切换上下布局。
- 略过带编号的 Fig./Figure、Table、Supplementary、Extended Data 等图表引用，包括子图和范围；引用跨栏/页时同样过滤。
已装语音包的用户只需在插件设置中检查并安装更新，或下载 paper-voice-1.2.2.xpi。无需重装语音包。首次使用请选择对应平台的完整 ZIP。支持 Zotero 10。
测试包含真实双栏、跨页句子、200% 缩放、重复播放、暂停续播及图表引用 PDF。位置测试使用固定译文隔离网络波动，语音合成与播放事件保持真实；翻译联网回归另行执行。Windows 云端测试没有实体扬声器，使用真实解码与静音播放事件。详细证据见仓库测试报告。
