@Just1Developer Just1Developer released this 28 Jan 12:07

DisableEnd gets an update with some bugfixes and new features

Features: Overview

  • The nether can now be disabled as well
  • Player can also be sent to the spawn of a specified world instead of their spawn point
  • The configuration can be reloaded while the server is running, removing the need to restarts

Bugfixes: Overview

  • Fixed issues with particles causing an error in newer Minecraft versions
  • Fixed potential issues with teleporting into other dimensions

Feature: Disable Nether

The Nether dimension can now be disabled as well. For this, a new command equivalent to /disableend has been added: /disablenether. In general, the options are the same for both dimensions. If the option Kick players is disabled, players can roam around the nether. There is an option to allow exiting, this would be recommended here. In this case, the portal creation inside the nether would still function as normal.

Nether portals

Nether portal creation is disabled if the nether is disabled. If a portal is entered outside the nether, it is destroyed immediately. The same goes for stuff like throwing an ender pearl into the nether. Other entities are generally teleported to the world spawn or the spawn of the world specified in the config.

If Allow exiting is enabled for the nether, portals created inside the nether while it is disabled will not be blocked. Partner portals in the overworld will generate, but break as soon as the player steps through them when they teleport out of the nether.

DisableEnd v1.0

@Just1Developer Just1Developer released this 22 Dec 09:54

This plugin lets you disable entry to the end dimension. A quick rundown of how this works:

Quick version

There is a command that can disable the end, you can set this value to either true of false. If the end is deactivated, players can no longer place ender eyes in the end portal frames. Additionally, you can deny teleportation to the end and being in the end in general while the end is disabled. These settings have no effect when the end is enabled.

Commands

/disableend <true, false, status> - Setting or checking if the end is disabled. True disables the end.
/disableend denyTeleport <true, false, status> - Setting or checking if teleporting to the end is also disabled when the end is.
/disableend kickPlayers <true, false, status> - Setting or checking if players should get kicked out of the end when it is disabled.

A bit more detail

General Settings

There are 3 settings that can be modified with commands:

  • End is disabled / enabled: This will allow or prevent placing ender eyes in frames.
  • Deny World Teleportation: This will allow or deny players to teleport into the end, for example with an already ignited portal, tpa or similar.
  • Kick Players: This will teleport a player out of the end if they move in the end while it is disabled.

Teleportation endpoints

If a teleportation is denied or players are kicked out of the end, they will be teleported to their spawn location or, if that does not exist yet, to the spawn of the main world.

Messages

There are customizable messages for these teleportations. If a message is empty, it will not be sent. If a message is instead missing, it will be added back to the config with its default value.

Bypassing

There is a setting in the configuration that, if enabled, will allow players with Op permissions and creative mode to freely bypass the end restrictions in place.

Default Values

The Default Values are as Follows:

End Disabled: false
Deny Teleport: true
Kick out of End: true
Bypass for Admins in Creative: true
Particles on denied Ender Eye Placement: true
Sound on denied Ender Eye Placement: true
Messages:
