Minor release with faster and more reliable clamping. No API changes are required.
Improved
<InlineClamp>uses native CSS for default end truncation and does less work during repeated
resizes.<RichLineClamp>uses native CSS for supportedmaxLinescases and handles HTML with many inline
elements more efficiently.- Measured clamps avoid redundant work when content changes at the same width or when font and
layout updates happen together. - Expanded, empty, and unlimited clamps observe layout and fonts only when clamping becomes active.
- Fractional width changes are detected reliably under browser zoom, high-DPI displays, and
flex/grid layouts.
Fixed
<LineClamp>and<RichLineClamp>restore the full content when a font change makes it fit.- Measured clamps remeasure when inherited text styles change, even if the width stays the same.
<RichLineClamp>preserves the original HTML when it cannot create a safe measurement copy,
including content with custom elements, duplicate IDs, form controls, or embedded content.
