Enable game detection in Controls & privacy to pause after a game closes. Detection needs two observations, normally about 10–20 seconds. Exclusive fullscreen games may need Borderless / Windowed fullscreen for desktop reminders.

• Planned timers begin at their scheduled time, independently of game detection. Playing a selected planned game preserves the timer.
• Finish freezes and records elapsed session time. Extend after Finish starts a fresh 15-minute window, keeping earlier time and excluding the gap.
• Games without a selected window use a count-up timer, with Set window and Finish. Detected closure pauses count-up clocks.
• The signed-in website synchronises clocks with the new phone companion at https://gamesthatfit.com/phone. Keep the website open for PC/phone synchronisation and friend-plan updates. Local timers continue in the tray when it is closed.

Includes GTF branding and current UK Terms/Privacy/Cookie notices in the installer. Optional history, startup and reminder choices remain under the user’s control. No Steam password or website API credential is bundled. No game is forcibly stopped.

GTF Companion 0.9.11

GTF Companion 0.9.11 fixes the bottom-right reminders for a planned session starting soon or starting now. Their three buttons are measured and wrapped when needed, with enough card height for enlarged Windows text. The end-of-session card keeps its existing layout and controls.

The manual timer now matches the phone companion’s stacked title search and time picker: six presets including 1.5h, selected-time/helper text and a clean adjustment slider. Count up hides timed adjustment, and the editor collapses after a timer starts. Set window uses the same controls.

This release also includes 0.9.10's compact, conditional website connection and dismissal of obsolete Windows reminders when another device changes the session timer.

Quit GTF Companion from the tray, then run the installer to upgrade. A separate uninstall is not required. The Windows app opens https://gamesthatfit.com and remains unsigned; the release checksums verify the downloaded files.

Checks: real isolated Windows soon/start/end reminder geometry at 100–250% text size, working Extend action, native core tests and the hosted Windows packaging workflow. Exclusive fullscreen visibility still depends on the game's display mode; Borderless / Windowed fullscreen is recommended for the gentle card.

• Conditional, compact website sync avoids repeatedly transferring installed games, history and the planning catalogue. Unchanged snapshots return no body; active controls remain responsive.
• Extending or finishing a timer on another connected GTF surface closes the obsolete Windows reminder. Finish waits two minutes before a further save reminder, avoiding immediate flashing/reappearance.
• Existing game detection, timer pause/resume, crew replies, invitation controls and local history are retained.
