Introduce error reporting and an optional high-speed connect path. Device::connect now accepts a highSpeed flag (default true) to conditionally perform the baud-rate switch. Added getLastError() to Device and SerialPort, a static Impl::lastError and setLastError() to capture platform/serial failures, and multiple setLastError calls at failure points (open/write/flush/timeout/thread creation) to surface diagnostics. Also added SerialPort::getLastError() wrapper around platform error reporting and minor constructor/format tweaks for Impl.
