What's new (19 October 2026)
- If you ask about a date with a year or “this year”, KIplatz answers from the calendar instead of saying “not sure”.

Version 2026-10-18q
What's new (18 October 2026)
- KIplatz now works out by itself when the clocks change in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia or New Zealand, and if you ask about a date “this year”, you get this year's day, even if it has already passed.

Version 2026-10-18p
What's new (18 October 2026)
- If a step of a how-to or a recipe fails the check, KIplatz no longer shows the answer with a gap; it writes it again or keeps looking.

Version 2026-10-18o
What's new (18 October 2026)
- If you use KIplatz in English, everything is now in English: the morning briefing with headlines from your own country, the ten skill templates and Memory with “Remember: …”, and answers are read aloud in an English voice.
- Answers in English now sound natural rather than translated word for word, and when you ask in English about a country outside the German-speaking world, KIplatz searches in English and finds the official pages there.
- Buttons and messages now have the same natural English names in the program, the app and on the website.

Version 2026-10-18k
What's new (18 October 2026)
- “Ask your home” now understands English questions like “Where is my CV?”: the answer, file type and folder come in English, and the card on the PC is fully in English too.

Version 2026-10-18h
What's new (18 October 2026)
- Questions about entry rules, visas, other rules and who holds an office now get what the authorities in that country say today, anywhere in the world, and KIplatz recognises holidays by name too, such as Memorial Day.
- Dates written the English way on web pages now count as a source, a year has to belong to the thing it is about, and on the home page the colour of each sentence matches the text you see.

Version 2026-10-18g
What's new (18 October 2026)
- English questions now reach KIplatz properly translated: ask about the speed limit or for a recipe and you get the answer instead of “I don't know yet”.
- Recipes keep their amounts even when KIplatz found only something on the side about the dish, and lists stay tidy when an uncertain sentence is left out.
- Things named after their city are now found by their name: “Who built the Giant Ferris Wheel in Vienna?” leads to the Wiener Riesenrad.
- KIplatz now lists the public holidays of a German state in full, with only the notes that apply to that state.
- In English, the names of pharmacies, restaurants and streets stay as they are, so you can find them on the spot.

What's new (18 October 2026)

Version 2026-10-18e
What's new (18 October 2026)
- On devices without a suitable graphics card the top now says “Community answers” instead of “AI off”, and the settings explain why the device's own AI is best left off there.

Version 2026-10-18d
What's new (18 October 2026)
- KIplatz now lists other countries' public holidays in full and with their German names.
- An answer KIplatz had to cut sentences from is no longer handed out ready-made to everyone: the next question gets a freshly worked-out one.
- Examples like “for example GMX or Gmail” stay in the answer when the names really exist.
- For places with the same name, KIplatz means the well-known town unless you name the country: “pharmacies in Passau” now finds the town of Passau.
