Windows (VarAC users): download VarMap-Setup-*.exe and run it (per-user install, no admin needed).
Prefer no installer? VarMap-*-windows-x64-portable.zip unzips anywhere; run VarMap.exe.

macOS / Linux: map-only builds (VarAC and transmit are Windows-only). Unpack the .tar.gz, run ./VarMap, open http://127.0.0.1:5001.

Settings and the station database are kept in the user profile (%LOCALAPPDATA%\VarMap on Windows) and survive upgrades.

Already running VarMap? It checks for new releases by itself; on the installed Windows build click the Update pill and choose Install now. SHA256SUMS.txt lists the checksums of every file above.
