Names can differ when customized.
Recommended backup scope:
config.yml- SQLite and JSONL stores
emojis/- uploads that must be retained
- Web Push subscriptions and VAPID key files
Copy SQLite databases after a clean server shutdown whenever possible.
Usually reloadable with /kchat reload:
- Most configuration changes
- HTTP service and relay reinitialization
- UI default changes
Requires a server restart:
- JAR replacement
- Java code changes
- Plugin load-order changes
- Some port-lock or web-resource conditions
/kchat reload automatically requests bluemap reload light; if BlueMap assets still appear stale or the command dispatch failed, run /bluemap reload light manually.
