Bug Fix

  • image_template now backfills newly-added attribute keys from the live entity. v1.11.0 made the history adapter prefer per-state historical attributes, which fixed templates for keys that existed at every snapshot — but broke them for keys added after older history entries were recorded (e.g. an aircraft_photo attribute added recently — older entries have a populated attributes dict that simply doesn't contain that key, so ?? never fell through).

    The adapter now shallow-merges live attributes under historical ones: per-state values still win where they exist, and keys that only appear on the current entity fall back to the live value instead of rendering empty.

    Concrete effect: {{ attributes.aircraft_photo }} resolves to the per-event photo for entries recorded after the attribute was introduced, and to the current entity's photo for older entries.
