Description

Exports all FTA (Functional Tolerancing and Annotation) 3D annotations from the active CATPart to a CSV file. The script accesses the AnnotationSets collection via COM and iterates every annotation in each set, recording its name, type, and text content. If no FTA annotations are present, the script exits cleanly without creating a file.

Usage

1. Open a CATPart containing FTA 3D annotations
2. Run the script
3. The CSV is saved next to the CATPart file (or to ~/Downloads if unsaved)

CSV file: <PartName>_3D_Annotations.csv

Annotation Set	Name of the annotation set
Name	Annotation object name
Type	COM type string of the annotation object
Text	Text content of the annotation

Notes

• Annotations with no readable text content are exported with a blank Text field
• The FTA workbench licence is only required to author annotations, not to read them
• If no annotation sets are found the script prints a message and exits without creating a file
