v2.1.0

@Kailoren Kailoren released this 13 Jul 14:18

What's new in v2.1.0

  • Where to Sell — a brand new panel alongside Where to Buy. Tick the Sell column on anything you're holding to find carriers that are buying it, so you can offload materials you no longer need. Both panels run from a single search and resize independently.
  • Sell-column selections now persist across restarts and auto-deselect once you've sold all of that commodity.
  • Replaced the old Select all/Clear buttons with independent Clear Buy and Clear Sell buttons.
  • Fixed stale stock listings: a carrier reporting 0 in stock now correctly clears the listing instead of leaving the old count showing.
  • Added missing Takada/Manticore/Karma weapon upgrade grade paths.
  • Corrected suit and weapon modification/upgrade costs using verified data (some totals were wrong).
  • FleetFinder now checks this repo's releases on launch and prompts user with a link to the latest release if users version is outdated. Also now shows the running version in the title bar.

v2.0.1

@Kailoren Kailoren released this 12 Jul 14:30

What's new in v2.0.1

  • Improved docking access accuracy. Docking access could previously show "Yes" for a carrier that was actually restricted to friends or squadron members only, based on someone with special access successfully docking there. That signal has been removed, so "Yes" now only appears once a carrier's real, general access policy has been confirmed. This means some carriers will show "Unknown" a bit longer than before, but the "Yes" you do see should now be trustworthy.
  • Faster sorting in the "Where to buy" results, especially noticeable after a broad search with many components ticked at once.

Installing

Download FleetFinder-v2.0.1.zip below, extract it, and run FleetFinder.exe. Keep the Data folder next to the exe. No installer needed, it is a self contained program.

v2.0.0

@Kailoren Kailoren released this 12 Jul 10:13

What's new in v2.0.0

  • Fleet carrier market data now comes from a dedicated backend built specifically for FleetFinder, instead of scraping a single website for results. This should mean more reliable searches overall, and coverage keeps growing over time as more players play the game.

  • Added docking access detection, so a search result can tell you whether you are likely able to dock at a carrier before you make the trip. Not every carrier will show this right away, it fills in gradually.

  • Search results now show how long ago each listing was last confirmed.

  • Added a clear message when a search finds no results, instead of leaving the results panel empty with no explanation.

  • Fixed a bug where the app's window could reopen shorter than expected after being snapped to one side of the screen.
