Android's output switcher and the volume keys now drive Kalinka's renderers, and search and catalog filters are remembered. This release needs no server update.

Added

  • Kalinka's renderers appear in Android's output switcher: the media notification's output chip names the renderer that is playing, switches between renderers, and sets its volume.
  • With the app open, the phone's volume keys set the renderer's volume and show a compact volume bar. Volume is offered only while something is playing, buffering or paused on the renderer; otherwise the keys go back to Android.
  • Filters are remembered. The results filter (kind, type, genres, sources and order) carries over to the next search, and each catalog page reopens under its own filter.
  • When filters leave a listing empty, it says so and offers Reset filters.

Fixed

  • The volume slider follows your finger as you drag, and no longer jumps back to an in-between level after you let go.
  • The seek bar stays where you dropped it until the renderer reaches the new position, instead of snapping back on the next update.
  • A saved filter for a source that is logged out or offline is kept until the source returns, and a search no longer comes up empty because a saved filter asks for something none of the chosen sources can provide.
