Elden-Ring-Save-Manager-Tracker-v1.0.4.3
Changelog — v1.0.4.3
Added
- The editor now updates itself. Each time you open it, the editor checks
in the background whether a new version is out. When there is one, a window
shows you what changed and asks whether to install it now or later. "Update
now" downloads the new version, checks that it is exactly the file that was
published, puts it in place of the old one and asks you to restart - and if
you have changes you have not saved yet, it warns you first. Your saves,
backups, builds and settings are not touched. Works on Windows and Linux. - Your version, always in sight. Under the Interface Size option, one
line shows the version you have and whether it is up to date. Click it to
check again; when a new version is out, it says so in gold, and clicking it
opens the update window. "Skip this version" stops the window from coming
up on its own for that version, and the line still shows it.
This is the last version you need to download by hand: from now on, updates
come to you inside the editor. If the editor sits in a folder Windows does not
let it write to (such as Program Files), it tells you and opens the download
page instead.
Fixed
- The program's file properties showed the wrong version. Right-clicking
the editor and opening Properties > Details said 1.0.4.1 on version 1.0.4.2.
It now always matches the version in the title bar.
Before running this new version:
- Extract
elden-ring-save-manager-tracker.zipand delete your oldelden-ring-save-manager-tracker.exefile. - Delete the old
assetsfolder from your previous installation.

Elden-Ring-Save-Manager-Tracker-v1.0.4.2
Changelog — v1.0.4.2
Added
- Bigger (or smaller) text. A new "Interface Size" option under the theme
picker makes the whole editor larger or smaller, from 80% to 200%, and it
is remembered the next time you open the editor. The usual shortcuts work
too: Ctrl and + to make it bigger, Ctrl and - to make it smaller, Ctrl and 0
to go back to 100%. At larger sizes the Equipment page makes its slots a
little smaller so the item details beside them keep their room, and on a
very narrow window it puts the details under the slots instead. - Automatic save backups. Opening any save file now automatically creates a
timestamped backup in a dedicatedBackupSavefolder beside the application.
The editor automatically rotates backups (keeping the latest 10 copies per save)
and avoids creating duplicate backups if no changes were made. Backups are
named with your local time, and saves from different Steam accounts keep
separate backups even though every account's file is calledER0000.sl2. - Dedicated "Backups" button in the toolbar. You can now click the new
"Backups" button at the top of the window at any time to open yourBackupSave
folder in File Explorer, with a helpful tooltip displaying the filename of the
most recent backup created. - Locate regulation.bin or Game folder directly from the error dialog. If your
save file has damaged or overwritten game item data (e.g., from Cheat Engine or
other editing tools) and the editor cannot find your game automatically, the
dialog now offers interactive "Locate regulation.bin..." and "Browse Game folder..."
buttons. Once chosen, your selection is remembered for all future loads and the
save opens immediately. If the file you pick is not one the editor can read,
the dialog tells you so. - Build Planner. A new page for planning builds: pick a starting class and
attributes, both hands' armaments (with upgrade level, Ash of War and
affinity), armour, talismans, physick tears, spells and quick items. It shows
the level the build needs and each weapon's attribute requirements, ticked or
crossed against your attributes. Builds are kept in your own library, and
"From current character" turns what your character is wearing into a build
in one click. - Apply a build to your character. The editor shows you exactly what will
happen before anything changes: which items it will add, which ones you
already own and will simply equip, and what it cannot do and why (not enough
talisman or memory slots, no Flask of Wondrous Physick, or an item your game
version does not have). Consumables are only equipped if you already carry
them, never added. Nothing is written to your save until you press Save. - Share builds with a code or a file. "Copy build code" gives you a short
code (it starts withERB1_) to paste on Discord, Reddit or anywhere else, and
"Import build code" opens one someone shared with you. Builds can also be
exported and imported as.erbuildfiles. - Community build gallery. Publish your builds and browse everyone else's
in the new Community gallery tab. The community picks the best: vote for the
builds you rate and see the top builds of the week, the top of all time, or
the newest. Builds are shown as cards with their weapons and talismans, the
two attributes they put the most into, their votes and comments. "View
build" opens a build across the whole window: everything it equips, what it
would do to the character you have open (HP, FP, stamina, load, poise and
attack power, before and after, in the game's blue and red), and its
comments, where you can add your own. From there, "Open in planner" loads a
copy to try out, and "Apply to" shows you exactly what applying it to your
character would change before anything happens. Nothing is written to your
save until you press Save. Remove your own builds whenever you like. Builds
or comments reported by several players are hidden. Each card shows all
eight attributes (VIG, MND, END, STR, DEX, INT, FTH, ARC), with the two the
build puts the most into in gold. - Your character's stats, exactly as the game shows them. The General page
is now laid out like the game's Status screen: Level, Runes Held and Runes
Needed, your Scadutree and Revered Spirit Ash Blessings, HP, FP, Stamina,
Equip Load (with Light / Med. / Heavy load), Poise, Discovery, Memory Slots,
the Attack Power of all six armaments, Defense and Damage Negation, and
Resistance. Attributes raised by a talisman show the bonus beside them (for
example "+5 → 65" with Millicent's Prosthesis). Every number is worked out
from your save's own game data and was checked against the real game's
screens. - See what a build does before you apply it. The Build Planner now shows the
build's Character Status, Attack Power, Defense and Resistance next to your
character's, with blue and red arrows for what goes up and down - just like
the game does when you change equipment. Choose one- or two-handed, and which
character to compare with. - Pick weapons, armour and talismans on a full screen. Clicking one of
those slots in the Build Planner opens a large window with the list, the
upgrade / Ash of War / affinity settings, and the game's own detail panel
side by side. Hover over any item to see its full stats (attack power as
base + scaling, guarded negation, scaling letters, requirements, passive
effects like blood loss buildup, and a staff's or seal's spell scaling) and
what it would do to your build's HP, equip load, poise, attack power,
defense and resistance - with arrows against what the slot holds now.
Picking a new weapon keeps the slot's upgrade level where it can. Press
Done, Esc or click outside the window to close it. - Full weapon and armour stats on the Equipment page. The selected weapon
shows its attack power at your attributes and grip side by side with its
guarded negation, plus its passive effects; armour shows its damage
negation side by side with its resistances and poise, as in the game. A new Character Status card under your
equipment updates as you change what you wear.
Changed
- Found places stay on the Interactive Map. With "Hide Completed" on, the
map used to take away every location you had already discovered. Locations
now always stay visible, like on the game's own map, so you can still find
your way back to them; everything else you have finished is still hidden. - Redesigned Character Importer. The importer now matches the rest of the
editor: the save you are importing from is named at the top, each character
shows its slot, level and class, and a short summary tells you exactly which
character will replace which before you press Import. It also opens on the
character you are currently editing. - Import a character into an empty slot. The Character Importer used to
only overwrite a character you already had. The next free slot of your save
is now listed below your characters, so you can add a character from another
save as a new one without losing anybody - one at a time, with the following
free slot offered once that one is filled. A character brought in from another Steam account's
save is moved to your account, as the game expects.
Fixed
- Summoning pools you had activated showed as inactive. Since the game's
1.12 patch, activating an Effigy of the Martyr is recorded differently, and
the editor was still looking in the old place - so pools you activated after
that update never showed as active, and "Activate All" did not activate them
in the game. The editor now reads and writes the same record the game does.
The list also covers every pool in the game now: 212 instead of 162, with the
Limgrave, Liurnia, Caelid and Shadow of the Erdtree pools that were missing,
each named after the Site of Grace it is closest to. Many more summoning pool
markers on the Interactive Map now show whether you have activated them. - "Hide Completed" left Sites of Grace on the map you had already rested at.
About twenty graces were never recognised - the ones Leyndell has twice
(once in the Royal Capital, once in the Ashen Capital) and a handful whose
names were misspelt, such as Auriza Hero's Grave, Minor Erdtree Church and
Malenia, Goddess of Rot. They now show as done once you have rested there,
and the grace names in the editor are spelt the way the game spells them. - Interactive Map markers were off their places. Since v1.0.3.2 the map
images the editor downloads for the Overland, Underground and Realm of
Shadow layers were a slightly different version of the map - nudged a
little to one side, tilted, or a touch larger - so every marker sat a short
way from the spot it belongs to, and in Limgrave a boss could look like it
was standing in the middle of Agheel Lake. The map images are now the right
ones, and the editor checks every map image it finds on your computer: an
old or mismatched copy, including one you placed beside the program
yourself, is no longer used and the right one is downloaded instead. Your
own files are left where they are. To make sure nobody keeps an old copy,
the first time you open this version the editor clears the pictures and
maps it downloaded before and downloads them again in the background, which
takes a few minutes. Your saves, backups, builds, settings and map ticks are
not touched. - Some icons showed the wrong symbol. A few of the editor's icons were
drawn as a different one - a down arrow pointing left, a fire extinguisher
instead of a flame, a locker instead of a padlock, upload and download
arrows the wrong way round, a heartbeat instead of the HP heart. Every icon
now shows t...
Elden-Ring-Save-Manager-Tracker-v1.0.4.1
Changelog — v1.0.4.1
Fixed
- "Access is denied" when you drop your save folder on the window. The saves
sit in a folder named after your Steam ID, inside one calledEldenRing, and
dropping one of those folders on the editor instead of the file in it used to
show Windows' own "Access is denied" message - which says nothing about what
went wrong - and, in an older version, closed the editor outright. The editor
now recognises a folder and tells you to open it and pick theER0000.sl2
(orER0000.co2) inside. - "Slot 0: armor invalid" when importing a character from a healthy save.
The editor was checking the save you were importing from against the game data
of the save you already had open. When those two did not match - most often
because the open save's copy of the game data had been written over by another
tool - every piece of armour in the imported save looked unknown and the import
was refused. Each save is now read with its own game data, and the save you are
looking at keeps its own.
Changed
- An imported save the editor cannot recognise now asks you where it came
from, exactly as opening one does. Instead of the flat "Save file has
irregular data!", the editor lists what it did not recognise and offers to send
it along with your answer, so support for that mod or tool can be added.

Elden-Ring-Save-Manager-Tracker-v1.0.4.0
Changelog -- v1.0.4.0
Fixed
- Crash when saving with an empty or invalid Steam ID. Saving a save file
when the Steam ID text box was cleared or contained non-numeric text previously
caused an unexpected crash. The editor now safely handles empty or invalid
Steam IDs without crashing, preserving existing save data. - Crash when selecting non-save files in the file picker. Opening files that
are not Elden Ring save files (such as Steam Cloud sync metadata files, text
documents, or small/empty files) previously caused an unexpected crash. The
editor now safely checks file headers and reports a clear, friendly message
without crashing. - Helpful notice for Steam Cloud sync files (
steam_autocloud.vdf). When
browsing the Elden Ring save folder, players occasionally select the Steam Cloud
metadata file (steam_autocloud.vdf) sitting alongside their saves. The editor
now detects this immediately and displays an informative banner explaining that
it is a Steam sync file, guiding the player to selectER0000.sl2orER0000.co2
instead. - Improved file dialog filters. The Open and Save file dialogs now group
supported save extensions (*.sl2,*.co2,*.txt) together cleanly, preventing
non-save files from cluttering the default file list. - Auto-Sync no longer throws away your edits. With Auto-Sync on, the game
saving was enough to reload the file and silently discard every change you had
not saved yet. The editor now notices and asks: reload the game's progress, or
keep your changes (which pauses Auto-Sync). - Saves the game plays but the editor refused now open. Some saves carry a
copy of the game's item data that another tool overwrote. The game does not
mind, but the editor could not read anything without it. It now uses the item
data from your own Elden Ring installation instead and leaves the save's copy
untouched. If the editor cannot find your game, it tells you how to fix that. - Characters holding the same item twice are no longer refused. A character
with, for example, an Ash of War listed twice in the inventory was reported as
"irregular data", even though the game loads it without complaint. - Saving no longer changes things you did not edit. Saving used to reset
current HP, FP and stamina to their base values, recalculate the level, clear
leftover letters from an old character name, and add all of a character's
runes to their rune memory again on every save. Now only what you changed is
written. - Clearer message for PlayStation key files. Opening
sce_sdmemory.binnow
explains that it is the save's key file and which file to open instead. - Caria Manor counts as an open-world region again in the Regions page.
- Merchant wares are readable again. Item names in a merchant's list broke
one word per line, so a merchant with many wares, like Moore with sixteen,
took up several screens. - Cards no longer spill out of their column. A long label, such as "Spirit
Ashes Allowed" or an NPC with three roles, pushed its card wider than the page
and out of line with the cards beside it. - Drops no longer show a different item. The Black Knife Assassins' Black
Knife showed a hood, a Dagger showed a talisman and a Hammer Talisman showed a
hammer, and holding the mouse over them described that other item. A drop
with no picture of its own now shows its name instead of someone else's. - Misspelt names corrected, among them Maliketh, the Black Blade, the
Beastmen of Farum Azula, Demi-Human Queen Margot (Volcano Cave), the Erdtree
Burial Watchdogs of Stormfoot and Impaler's Catacombs, and Glintstone
Craftsman's Cookbook [2]. - Wrong details on NPC and merchant cards. Some NPCs showed "Role" as their
role, bell bearings were sentences copied from a guide, quests listed guide
headings instead of the side quests on the Side Quests page, and merchant
locations all started with the word "Location". Seven merchants were listed
twice, and pages that are not people ("Limgrave", "Merchants", "NPCs") showed
up as NPCs.
Added
- Copy from a right-click, on any text. Right-clicking a text box - a search,
the character name, the Steam ID - opens Cut, Copy and Paste for the text you
selected. Right-clicking any other text, such as a weapon's name or its
description, opens Copy: it copies what you selected, or the whole text you
clicked if you selected nothing. - Affinity symbols on the Equipment page. In the Armament Tuning panel each
affinity button shows its symbol, the weapon's affinity symbol sits beside its
upgrade level, and every Ash of War in the list shows the symbol of the affinity
it brings. - Tell us where an unrecognised save comes from. When a save holds things the
editor does not recognise (armour or weapons added by a mod, for example),
instead of a dead-end "irregular data" message the editor now shows what it did
not recognise and asks where the save comes from - a modded game, Seamless
Co-op, another tool, and so on. Pressing Send shares your answer and the save so
support for it can be added. - Usage counts alongside error reports. Together with error reports, the
editor now counts which pages you open, which character you switch to, and when
the map syncs with your save, so we can see which features are used and where to
focus fixes. The error report question now mentions them. - Sharp cookbook, whetblade and map fragment pictures. These pages now show
the game's own item icons at high resolution, replacing small, blurry images
(the Shadow of the Erdtree cookbooks were only 75 pixels wide, and some showed
the wrong book). - New pictures on the Events pages. Nearly every boss, side quest, NPC,
merchant and enemy now has a clearer picture from Eldenpedia (wiki.gg),
replacing the older watermarked images. Bosses show that very fight, and NPCs
and merchants show a close-up of the character. - A picture for every Site of Grace. The Sites of Grace list is now a grid of
large pictures with a checkbox under each one, and each region's picture above
it is bigger. Clicking a grace on the map shows its picture too. - Pictures on the World Regions page. Each of the 208 areas is now a tile
showing the place it is named after, with its Locked/Unlocked button underneath.
Areas named after a direction, such as "Liurnia East" or "Central Caelid", show a
landmark that stands inside them. - Summoning pools show where they stand. 107 pools show their own spot, and
the rest show their region. The colosseums and the region previews have new
pictures too. - Each of Miquella's thirteen Crosses has its own picture on the map, and so
do both Hallowhorn Grounds. Ten map locations with no picture now have one, and
many others have better ones. - Missing encyclopedia entries. 8 bosses, 8 NPCs (including Knight Leontiel
and Swordhand of Night Anna) and 13 enemies were added, and missing HP, runes
and drops were filled in for over twenty entries.
Changed
- Renamed to Elden Ring Save Manager & Tracker. The application is now
officially named Elden Ring Save Manager & Tracker (elden-ring-save-manager-tracker.exe)
to reflect its full set of save editing and progression tracking capabilities. - Single data folder with automatic migration. All settings, custom themes,
downloaded maps and image caches are now consolidated into a single local directory
(%LOCALAPPDATA%\elden-ring-save-manager-tracker). Any older folders from previous
versions (elden-ring-save-manager,elden-ring-save-editor) are automatically
migrated and cleaned up on startup. - Clean diagnostic grouping. Automated diagnostic reports now use dedicated
categories, so distinct problems (such as damaged game data vs. character
validation notices) stay separate, and one warning no longer causes every later
report in the same session to be filed under it. - Files that are not saves are no longer sent with error reports. Picking the
wrong file is not a bug, so it no longer produces a report or uploads the file. - Bigger item info on hover. Holding the mouse over a drop or a merchant's
ware now opens a much larger panel - a bigger picture, a larger name and a
readable description. - Redesigned cards on the Events pages. The picture sits at the top left with
the details beside it, and drops, wares and walkthroughs run underneath. The
Defeated/Alive, Locked/Unlocked and Activated buttons now span the bottom of the
card, and a quest's step count sits right above its checklist. Summoning pools,
whetblades, cookbooks and map fragments now use the same cards, with a much
larger picture. Whetblade affinities and cookbooks are ticked with plain
checkboxes again, each affinity with its own symbol. Cards side by side are
now the same height and line up, and each row is only as tall as what its
cards hold, so a boss with no drops no longer sits over an empty space. A very
long list of drops, wares or walkthrough steps scrolls inside its card instead
of stretching the row, and a merchant's wares are listed straight away instead
of behind a fold. - The item drops on the Events pages show the game's own item icons. Drops,
merchant wares and their hover tooltips now draw the game's sharp native
artwork (3,629 of 3,934 drops resolve to it), replacing the wiki's small,
sometimes watermarked thumbnails. Armor sets, gestures, places and rune
amounts keep the wiki picture, since they have no single in-game icon. - A tidier Equipment page. The cards in the Roundtable Armory are now all the
same width, each as tall as what it holds, with even spacing between them. In the
item panel beside it, the i...

Elden-Ring-Save-Editor-v1.0.3.4
Changelog — v1.0.3.4
Added
- Live & real-time save synchronization on the Interactive Map. You no longer
need to close and reopen your save file to see your map progress update. The
Sync button now re-reads your save directly from disk while keeping your active
character slot selected. - Auto-Sync mode. A new "Auto-Sync" toggle on the Interactive Map monitors your
save file while you play Elden Ring. Whenever the game saves your progress, the
map detects the change and refreshes completed markers and collectibles in real
time. - Portraits for Bosses, NPCs, Merchants, and Locations. Selecting a marker card
for a Boss, NPC, Invader, wandering Merchant, or Location on the Interactive Map
now renders their full portrait artwork from the wiki database instead of a
generic placeholder icon. - 280 world location images. Churches, ruins, catacombs, caves, towers, and
landmarks now have high-quality location artwork mapped and ready to display. - Automatic background download for new images. On launch, all 280 location
portraits are downloaded in the background into your local cache, ensuring instant
and offline-ready card rendering without interface stutter.
Fixed
- Resilient validation for duplicate items and talismans. Characters carrying
multiple stacks of consumables, duplicate Flask entries, or duplicate talismans
(frequent in New Game Plus, multiplayer trading, and modded saves) are now recognized
as valid. The validator previously flagged these legitimate saves as irregular data,
locking them from being edited. - Missing artwork for map items and Ashes of War. Items with multiple internal
IDs (such as Larval Tears, Lion's Claw, special arrows and bolts, and select
Ashes of War) previously had ID collisions that caused them to lose their artwork.
Artwork resolution has been overhauled, raising item art coverage across the entire
map from 92.5% to 98.0%. - Map icon visual cleanup and categorization. Refactored and clarified marker
icons across weapons, armors, spells, talismans, and landmarks for high-contrast
readability at all zoom levels, while removing hundreds of unused legacy icons. - Corrupted test save isolation. Unittest runners now reliably ignore broken test
fixture saves, ensuring robust automated verification. - Enhanced crash diagnostics and breadcrumb tracking. Automated error reports
now include full source context and previous user navigation breadcrumbs, making
it significantly easier to diagnose and fix player-reported edge-case issues. - Crash symbol upload automation in CI. Fixed the release pipeline to reliably
upload debug symbol files to Sentry for both Windows and Linux release builds. - Crash when clicking Save without a file loaded. The Save button in the top
toolbar is now safely disabled when no save file is opened, preventing an unexpected
crash. - Crash when opening saves with empty weapon or armor slots. Opening save files
where a character has unequipped weapon or armor slots (common when placing weapons
in secondary slots while leaving the primary slot empty) previously caused an
immediate crash (no entry found for key). The equipment parser now safely handles
unequipped armament and armor handles, accurately displaying them as empty. - Support for early launch save files (patch 1.02 and earlier). Save files
originating from Elden Ring's launch version (with early slot formats) previously
failed to load due to differences in header alignment. The save parser now
dynamically detects earlier slot versions and loads them cleanly without errors. - Resilience for modded and Seamless Co-op regulation data. Save files that use
custom Zstandard compression levels (such as ultra-compression level 22) or have
altered regulation blocks now load safely. If regulation parameters cannot be
parsed, the editor gracefully falls back to default game parameters rather than
closing or reporting an error. - Locked regions in Caria Manor. In the Regions tab, "Caria Manor" and "Main Caria
Manor Gate" were previously displayed as locked even on 100% completed save files.
This was caused by duplicate internal region ID mappings overwriting each other.
The region entries have been consolidated into a single unified "Caria Manor, Main Gate"
region, ensuring it accurately reflects the player's true unlocked status and can be
toggled cleanly without conflict. - Detailed Character Importer validation feedback. If a save file cannot be
imported (for example, converted Dark Souls 3 saves containing equipment that does
not exist in Elden Ring), the import dialog now displays the specific validation
issues (such as invalid equipment pieces) rather than an opaque error.

Elden-Ring-Save-Editor-v1.0.3.3
Changelog — v1.0.3.3
Added
- Native Linux & Steam Deck support: Standalone native Linux binary with automatic detection of Steam and Proton save paths.
- Automated error diagnostics: Handled read/write errors, damaged regulation data, and save validation issues now automatically report diagnostics and safely upload the affected save for fast bug reproduction and fixes.
- Streamlined first-run prompt: Simplified to a single option — opting into error reporting automatically enables save diagnostics.
Fixed
- Crash on damaged or modded saves: Saves modified by third-party tools with corrupted or invalid regulation blocks no longer crash the editor with an assertion error; they open safely with a clear warning.
- Crash on Event Flags / Bosses page: Opening the bosses page with empty or uninitialized character slots no longer crashes the application.
- Drag-and-drop safety: Dragging files into the window on platforms without direct path resolution no longer causes crashes.
Before running this new version:
- Delete your old
elden-ring-save-manager.exefile. - Delete the old
assetsfolder from your previous installation.
All required icons, portraits, and maps will be downloaded automatically.

Elden-Ring-Save-Editor-v1.0.3.2
Changelog — v1.0.3.2
Added
- Every image now arrives on its own. Item icons, portraits and maps are
downloaded on first run and kept on your computer. Before, the download came
with a folder of assets and most icons were still missing; the maps had to be
copied in by hand. The release is now just the executable, and progress shows
as a small line in the sidebar. - Tarnished Pack support (patch 1.17). The two new classes (Idus Knight and
Heavy Knight), Torrent's three Spectral Steed Regalia, and every new item with
its name and icon — 8 weapons, 4 armor sets and the three attires. - "Save repaired" notice. When you open a save an older version of the
editor damaged, the app tells you what it found, by character name, and fixes
it when you save. - "Check before saving" notice. When you press Save, anything the editor
cannot sort out on its own comes up first, with the choice of going back to
fix it or saving anyway. - A title on the Equipment page, like the other pages already had.
- Merchants & Wares: 11 new entries across 4 merchants, with the right
prices. - Crash reporting, if you want it. The first time you open this version it
asks whether the editor may send a report when something goes wrong, and
separately whether it may send the save file that caused it. Both are off
unless you say yes, the question is asked once, and nothing is sent before
you answer. Most problems are about a particular save, and without the file
they usually cannot be reproduced at all.
Interactive Map & Progress Tracker
- Locations are tracked now. Churches, ruins, catacombs and the rest used to
be listed as something the save could not answer for. The game keeps its own
list of the places it draws, and the map reads it — the number of Location
markers nothing could answer for went from 326 to 60. - The Land of Shadow's sites of grace count, and several of its bosses with
them. Neither was tracked before. - Boss markers no name could reach. The map draws two fights called
"Fallingstar Beast" and several called "Ancient Hero of Zamor"; these are now
told apart by the arena they belong to rather than by their title. - Markers you tick by hand are remembered, per character, between runs.
- Item markers show the item's artwork on the card when you click one.
- 8 new Tarnished Pack markers.
Fixed
- "Save file has irregular data!" Editing equipment and reopening the save
gave this error. The editor was corrupting the very files it wrote. Fixed, and
saves already damaged this way open again and are repaired when you save. - Flasks reverted to +0. Every equipment edit knocked the Flask of Crimson
and Cerulean Tears back from their upgraded level to the base one, without
saying so. - Crash on opening the Equipment page for a save whose first character does
not exist. The app closed with "index out of bounds". - A save whose data another tool had destroyed was reported as "not an Elden
Ring save". It now says what is actually wrong, and no longer closes the app. - An equipped item missing from the list. A flask in a quick slot was not
linked to its inventory entry, so it never showed as equipped. - The Flask of Wondrous Physick could sit in a quick slot and never appear
in the list of items to equip. - The same item in two quick slots. Equipping a consumable in a second slot
now empties the first, the way the game does. - Empty talisman slots were being altered for no reason on an equipment
edit. - "Select all" left out Shadow of the Erdtree — 141 weapons, 183 armor
pieces, 25 ashes of war, 39 talismans and some fifteen hundred goods were
missing. - Arrows and bolts vanished silently during a bulk add.
- The app closed on "Select all armors" because of four Tarnished Pack sets
with the wrong ids. - Missing Items listed gear you were already carrying.
- The dimming behind an error covered the error box itself.
- An error reported twice. A file that would not open put up two boxes on
top of each other with the same message. - The game's test artwork showed up in empty ARMAMENTS slots, on the map's
marker card and in the bulk item grid, in place of an icon. - Tick marks drew as empty boxes. The selection tick on every card in the
bulk item grid, the "Done" and "Outstanding" lines on the map's marker card,
and the dot on "Currently Active" were all drawn with a character the app's
fonts do not have, so a small blank square appeared instead. - The bulk grid's selection tick sat low in its box and was drawn as a gold
tile on the card. It is centred now, and the box and the tick share one
colour. - The Noble Broken Mask's description pointed at the wrong item.
Interactive Map & Progress Tracker
- Tall map markers were squashed. Icons that are not square — greaves,
Miquella's crosses and thirty-nine others — were being stretched to fill a
square, so they were drawn the wrong shape. - Map markers you could not see. Most item and equipment markers were
painted at the same brightness as the ground beneath them, so they vanished
into the terrain. They are now contoured with smooth antialiased outlines,
brightened, and coloured by category — forged amber-orange for weapons, hunter
emerald for bows, steel blue for armour, terracotta earth for map shards and
mausoleums, silver-gray for crystal tears, and gold for talismans and keys.
Place markers like caves and churches keep their original game symbols. - Weapons fold into clear unified markers. There were thirty-odd, one per
weapon class, and at marker size a halberd and a greatspear are the same
picture. Melee weapons share the crossed-swords icon, ranged weapons (bows,
crossbows, ballistas) use the bow icon, and shields keep their own. - Larval Tears showed as keys. In the Overland and Underground maps, 15
Larval Tear pickups drew with the key icon instead of the larval tear art. - Map pin selection draws cleanly. Clicking a marker now smoothly enlarges
it to 1.35x and elevates it into the foreground, replacing the wireframe circle. - The percentage changed every time you opened the same save — 2896, 2894
and 2897 markers complete on three runs of one file. It is steady now. - Markers sharing a name were collapsed onto one. Killing the Limgrave
Deathbird hid the other three. Fights that cannot be told apart are now left
alone rather than guessed at. - Thousands of item markers never matched. Marker titles are written for a
reader — "Golden Seed (A) - Stormveil Castle", "Smithing Stone [1] x5" — and
are now read as such. A 100%-complete save went from 80.3% to 91.8%. - The tracker could never reach 100%. Markers the save has no way to answer
for — NPCs, waygates, spiritsprings — were counted as outstanding forever.
They are left out of the percentage and can be ticked by hand instead. - Five markers pointed at the wrong site of grace, among them all four in
the Stone Coffin Fissure.
Changed
- The release is now just the executable. Nothing to copy by hand.
- Icons are now the game's original artwork instead of the wiki's, which
carried a watermark and a tighter crop. - The app uses far less memory. Images already drawn used to be kept for as
long as the app was open; browsing a full inventory or the Bosses page ran to
several hundred MB. It now settles around 220 MB. - It works offline. With no connection the app stops asking for images
instead of stalling on each one; a missing picture is drawn as a placeholder
and nothing else changes. - The "Add Items / Bulk" button is bigger and easier to see.
- Adding equipment you already have no longer creates malformed entries.
- "Hide completed" on the map now hides places you have already found, too,
now that the save can answer for them. - The map's Category Breakdown is down to nine categories. The ones that
were dropped — materials, consumables, spirit ashes and the rest — are picked
up and used again, so they never read as progress. Every marker is still on
the map and still counts towards the overall percentage.
