FileOrganizer - v2.0

FileOrganizer is a command-line tool designed to help you efficiently manage and organize your files by sorting them into different categories, organizing specific file types, and cleaning your file system.

How to Use

Running FileOrganizer

1. Show Help

To view available commands and options:

./FO -h

2. Organize Files by Location

To organize all files in a specific directory based on predefined categories (images, documents, etc.):

./FO -l {directory}

Example:

./FO -l D:\\Downloads

This will sort all files in the Downloads directory by their type.

3. Organize Specific File Types

To target specific file extensions for organization:

./FO -l {directory} -s {extensions}

Example:

./FO -l D:\\Downloads -s exe,jpg

This will organize .exe and .jpg files in the Downloads folder into their respective directories.

4. Auto-Organize by Extensions

To automatically create folders for each unique file extension:

./FO -l {directory} -a

This will place files with the same extensions into separate folders (e.g., .txt, .jpg, etc.).
