Compatibility

TownyAlerts 1.0.0-beta.3 uses Java 17 bytecode.

Build baseline

The beta.3 build uses:

• Paper API 1.19.4-R0.1-SNAPSHOT — provided
• Towny 0.100.4.0 — provided baseline
• DiscordSRV 1.30.5 — provided
• SQLite JDBC 3.53.2.1 — packaged
• MariaDB Connector/J 3.5.10 — packaged

The Towny APIs used by TownyAlerts were also inspected against Towny 0.103.2.0, including the core events and timing APIs used by the plugin.

Designed Minecraft range

TownyAlerts is designed around Towny's 1.19.x through 26.2.x generation range used during beta.3 development.

Runtime testing status

For 1.0.0-beta.3, full runtime smoke tests on the oldest and newest generations were still pending at release preparation time.

Do not interpret expected compatible as tested on every build.

Server software

Paper

Primary supported target.

Purpur

Expected target because it is Paper-based and supported by modern Towny.

Spigot / CraftBukkit

Do not assume current compatibility.

Modern Towny versions no longer support CraftBukkit/Spigot in the same way as the current Paper/Purpur target range.

Folia

TownyAlerts 1.0.0-beta.3 does not advertise Folia support.

The plugin does not declare itself Folia-supported until its scheduling/thread behavior has been explicitly validated.

Java

TownyAlerts itself is compiled for:

Java 17

The actual Java runtime required by the Minecraft server may be newer.

Always follow the Java requirements of the Paper/Purpur version being used.
