O sistema surgiu como uma resposta a uma necessidade identificada por dois alunos: Kawhan e Matheus, o problema gira em torno da preocupação dos professores em disponibilizar informações sobre oportunidades acadêmicas, como bolsas de estudo, vagas de estágio/emprego. Com isso, a partir dessa carência na comunicação e organizção dessas informações no e-mail, surgiu a oportunidade de elaborar um sistema que tivesse essa solução para resolver esse problema.
Dessa forma, através dessa API é possível realizar o cadastro e gerenciamento das informações relacionadas às vagas acadêmicas, bem como permitir que os alunos se inscrevam nas oportunidades de seu interesse. Além disso, a API também disponibiliza endpoints para o contato direto com informações relevantes relacionado a vaga (importunidade). Portanto, é importante destacar que a visão para essa resolução vai além de solucionar o problema imediato, mas também disponibilizar o projeto como "Open Source", o que significa que qualquer aluno interessado poderá acessar e utilizar a API, ou até mesmo contribuir com melhorias e desenvolvimento futuro. Além disso, o sistema se insere de maneira significativa no contexto educacional, o que acaba promovendo o acesso a oportunidades e estimulando o desenvolvimento tecnológico e acadêmico dos estudantes envolvidos.
O Sistema já foi implementado na UFPB e está funcionando (https://opportunity.ccae.ufpb.br/) o intuito de trazer ele para Spring é possibilitar que no futuro alunos consigam em sua perspectiva promover melhoras no sistema ou até mesmo criar outros novos sistemas como opportunity, o opportunity foi criado usando django template, porém, na cadeira iremos apresentar a api feita em spring boot com as melhores práticas indo além das aulas e trazendo contextos novos.

The system emerged as a response to a need identified by two students, Kawhan and Matheus. The problem revolves around the concern of teachers in providing information about academic opportunities, such as scholarships and internship/employment positions. Consequently, from this lack of communication and organization of this information in emails, an opportunity arose to develop a system that could provide a solution to address this problem.
In this manner, through this API, it is possible to register and manage information related to academic vacancies, as well as allow students to apply for opportunities of their interest. Furthermore, the API also provides endpoints for direct contact with relevant information related to the vacancy (opportunity). Therefore, it is important to emphasize that the vision for this solution goes beyond solving the immediate problem but also making the project available as "Open Source." This means that any interested student will be able to access and utilize the API, or even contribute to improvements and future development. Additionally, the system significantly integrates into the educational context, ultimately promoting access to opportunities and stimulating technological and academic development among the involved students.
