SeeCapture by KAYSTRO v0.2.3 – Beta Bugfix
Thank you to everyone who has been testing SeeCapture and reporting issues. Your feedback helped identify an important problem affecting installations on other Windows PCs.
🛠 What's fixed in v0.2.3
- Fixed the
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'seestarpy'issue reported by testers. - Python and SeestarPy are now bundled directly with SeeCapture.
- NumPy and Pillow are now included with the application.
- FFmpeg is now bundled with SeeCapture.
- Users no longer need to install Python packages or FFmpeg manually.
- Removed the old manual Python/FFmpeg installation options and instructions.
- Added an updated system check for the bundled components.
🔭 Testing
This is still a beta release.
The bundled components have been successfully verified after installation:
- SeestarPy 0.7.0
- NumPy 2.5.3
- Pillow 12.3.0
- Bundled FFmpeg runtime
I don't currently have my Seestar available for a full hardware test, so feedback from S50 and S50 Pro testers is especially welcome.
Please let me know which functions work, and report any errors you encounter.
Updating from v0.2.2
You can install v0.2.3 over the previous version. A separate uninstall should not be necessary.
