How To Run

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for downloading and setting up CouchDB. Follow these instructions to get your CouchDB server up and running.

1. Download CouchDB

First, download CouchDB from the CouchDB Website.

2. Setup local.ini File

Edit the local.ini file with the following configuration:

Don't forget to replace (your CouchDB password) in the [admins] sections with your actual CouchDB password.

3. Update Your index.html

Replace the PASSWORD into your CouchDB password Replace IPADDRESS into your IP Address. You can check it by running ipconfig in cmd (if in windows)

4. Run The Code

Start a simple HTTP server to run your CouchDB setup. Use the following command:

python -m http.server 8000

5. Open the page

Search localhost:8000/index.html in your browser
