Releases: KerballOne/ShipbreakerMods
Release list
MagBoots v1.2.2
Adds magnetic boots to Hardspace: Shipbreaker, letting you lock onto any suitable hull surface and walk it like it's got gravity, instead of free-floating everywhere.
This release adds NoBrakes (on by default): disables your air brake entirely, since braking on demand is a bit overpowered for a zero-g game. With it on, movement is more realistically Newtonian - you keep drifting unless something actually stops you, like recoil, the Grapple Gun, grabbing something by hand, or MagBoots. Recoil is also now enabled by default.
See README.md in the MagBoots/ folder for controls, configuration, and installation.
MagBoots v1.2.1
Adds magnetic boots to Hardspace: Shipbreaker, letting you lock onto any suitable hull surface and walk it like it's got gravity, instead of free-floating everywhere.
This release adds BrakeBreak: recoil from the Cutter or Grapple Gun now briefly disables your air brake afterward (1 second by default, tunable in the config), so the kick actually moves you instead of being cancelled out instantly if you're braking or reflexively brake right after.
See README.md in the MagBoots/ folder for controls, configuration, and installation.
MagBoots v1.2.0
Adds magnetic boots to Hardspace: Shipbreaker, letting you lock onto any suitable hull surface and walk it like it's got gravity, instead of free-floating everywhere.
Highlights in this release: a new crouch mechanic, smoother walking over uneven thresholds and sharp corners, an adjustable HUD size and screen-centered positioning, and plain-language config descriptions with retuned defaults. Optional recoil for the Cutter and Grapple Gun is now off by default.
See README.md in the MagBoots/ folder for controls, configuration, and installation.
ShipBreaker_SaveEditor v1.1.0
New in 1.1.0:
- Advanced mode: a collapsible, searchable JSON tree editor over every decoded save field. Invalid edits (unknown asset names, wrong types) are rejected before anything is written -- a backup is still made automatically before any successful save.
- Currency editing: Credits, Lynx Tokens, Repair Kits, Spare Parts, and other currency balances are now directly editable.
- Tool durability editing: Cutter, Grapple, Scanner, Thrusters, and Demo Charge durability values are now directly editable.
- Debt/Balance display: the profile card and save-detail header now show a computed Debt (or Balance, once paid off) figure matching the real in-game display, confirmed against real screenshots across all four difficulty modes.
- Various UI polish: consistent LYNX-style profile card, milestone name readability, backup history view, remove-entry buttons in Advanced mode.

ShipBreaker_SaveEditor v1.0.0
A local web app for changing your Hardspace: Shipbreaker save's difficulty mode after profile creation, plus troubleshooting tools for a stuck campaign save. No command line required — download the zip, run start.bat.

QuickCutscene v1.2.0
Adds a skip prompt to unskippable story cutscenes in Hardspace: Shipbreaker, letting you move through the narrative at your own pace without breaking progression.
Skipping does not break story progression — completion markers are posted normally, exactly as if you had watched the full sequence.
See README.md in the QuickCutscene/ folder for controls, configuration, and installation.
