- Connection-lost cleanup: Serial port now properly closed on disconnect, no more stale state (#6)
- Locale crash:
locale.setlocale()failure on misconfigured systems caught gracefully (#7) - Trickle misclassification: Step value now takes priority over status byte 0x07 — charging/discharging no longer misidentified as trickle (#9)
- False disconnects: Timeout raised from 2s to 5s to accommodate USB/OS jitter (#10)
