OpenXR SDK 1.1.61

OpenXR SDK 1.1.61 (2026-07-02)

This release marks the initial publication of the development tool API layers
for easier usage by developers for Android/AOSP-based systems. A small addition
to the reflection headers is also included, along with support for new and
revised vendor extensions.

• SDK
  • Addition: Build AAR files of development API layers and publish to Maven
    Central on release. A line like
    implementation 'org.khronos.openxr:apilayer_core_validation:1.1.61'
    (or apilayer_api_dump or apilayer_best_practices_validation equivalently)
    will bundle a layer with your application and enable it automatically as an implicit layer.
