Access settings via: Menu bar icon → ⚙️ Settings

General Settings

Text Max Size	200 KB	10KB-1MB	Skip text larger than this
Image Max Size	5 MB	1MB-20MB	Skip images larger than this
Save Images	On	—	Also capture images
Deduplication	On	—	Skip duplicate content
Byte Preserve	Off	—	Keep exact whitespace

Privacy Settings

Automatic Protection

ClipStash automatically ignores:

• Concealed content — Password managers (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.)
• Transient content — Temporary clipboard data

Both can be toggled off if needed.

Ignore List

Add specific apps to never capture from:

1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Ignored Apps
2. Click "Choose app from Finder"
3. Select the application

Common bundle IDs:

• com.1password.1password
• com.bitwarden.desktop
• com.apple.keychainaccess

Export Settings

Export for NotebookLM

Large exports are automatically split into ~180KB files for NotebookLM compatibility.

Launch at Login

1. Move ClipStash.app to /Applications
2. In Settings, enable "Launch at Login"

⚠️ Launch at login only works when app is in /Applications (macOS restriction).
