7.4.22

Minor Changes

  • #11219 8013e5f Thanks @sylwester-liljegren! - Make file references in agent responses clickable by validating inline code spans against the filesystem. Code spans that match real files in the workspace become clickable links that open the file at the referenced line. Non-existent paths stay as plain code. Also adds fallback workspace search and "File not found" warning when clicking dead links.

  • #13071 3e3dd3d Thanks @cosi-conda! - Add Agent Manager PR comment actions: resolve/unresolve review threads, jump to comments section, and scroll-to-top for PR diff view.

  • #13084 5c97b48 - Remove the built-in experimental Morph WarpGrep codebase search tool and ignore its retired configuration flag.

Patch Changes

  • #13063 ca9a99f - Show and select the model's default reasoning variant in chat and Agent Manager.

  • #13100 753d560 - Support structured AWS access keys and Google Cloud service-account JSON when connecting Bedrock and Vertex AI in VS Code.

  • #12373 3a99f36 Thanks @mvanhorn! - Fix subagent permission errors that referenced phantom deny rules and blocked commands the subagent's own config explicitly allowed. A read-only or delegating agent's readOnlyBash allowlist is no longer projected onto a writable subagent as a bash ceiling, so a delegated subagent can run its own allowed commands (e.g. git status). Edit, notebook, and MCP denials are still inherited as hard ceilings.

  • #13088 9f4ab3a - Keep the Changes chip and Git changes visible across tab switches in multi-repository workspaces.

  • Changes from opencode v1.17.13 to v1.18.0 upstream:

    • Core Bugfixes: Exposed reasoning effort variants for Grok models.
    • Core Bugfixes: Improved xAI prompt cache routing and PDF file support in Responses models.

    • TUI Bugfixes: Forwarded CLI environment variables to the TUI worker.
  • Adopt upstream improvements from v1.18.1 through v1.18.13, including model compatibility, MCP reliability, and TUI enhancements.
