Please use this macOS terminal script to run an automated installation of all necessary libraries and tools and then to run the automated processing of the publication data. Note that if you do not have apple command line tools installed, this wizard will guide you through installing that as well. Note that this will produce the entire code output of optional analysis, NOT just the selected analysis chosen for publication. The UNIFORM dataset is the publication dataset in these outputs.

If you choose to proceed with the sample data processing you can expect it to take approximately 15 minutes on a 2025 macbook pro. During this time the command will sit running, though you will see the python icon pop up and disappear repeatedly on the toolbar. Wait for it to finish, then the files will be at the install location you choose at the beginning of the script. The default is user/miniconda3/mapseq_processing_kimlab/02_output/...

Instructions:

  1. Download the script below.
  2. Open a terminal.
  3. Type the following commands one at a time to make the script executable and then to run the script. Follow on screen instructions while running.
    cd Downloads/
    chmod +x setup_wizard_with_sample-macOS
    xattr -d com.apple.quarantine setup_wizard_with_sample-macOS
    ./setup_wizard_with_sample-macOS
