Please Help, I messed up

TL;DR : Did a Factory Reset and doing everything and now unable to Jailbreak again.

So, I followed all the steps mentioned in Kindle Modding Guide for Jailbreaking my Kindle Paperwhite 11th gen and was successful in that. Did all the Post Break steps too.
Also installed KOReader and it worked fine.

But for some reason I deregistered my kindle and then the KUAL and RUN HOTFIX book were gone.
So, in panic I factory reset my Kindle and tried to do all the steps again.
But no luck, the mosquito interface won't show up. I was greeted with Kindle store all the time.

But then I tried to Install KUAL directly and it worked.
I installed KOReader again but now it isn't working. It just flashes the screen and goes back.

Followed the troubleshooting steps for Jailbreak but no luck.

Please help me as I want to Jailbreak again.

I have encountered a similar problem (the mosquito interface won't show up).
Try to do the following steps after Factory Reset:

1. Log in to your account
2. Go to the store and navigate through the pages a little
3. Download and open some of your books (perhaps unnecessarily)
4. Reboot the reader (perhaps unnecessarily)
5. Copy WinterBreak to the book according to the instructions
6. Delete the folder .active_content_sandbox/store/resource/LocalStorage
7. Continue the installation according to the instructions

I got this idea from here and it helped me.

if you followed all the post jailbreak steps then just reinstall Update_hotfix_universal.bin then run the "Run Hotfix" booklet , It should restore the jailbreak
Remember to "Restore OTA Binaries" if you renamed them with renameOTABin kual extension

No Luck. I tried everything.
Actually I messed up. I did everything and then don't know why but factory reset my kindle without restoring ota binary.

Now, I'm unable to Update my Kindle.
Any Idea how fix this issue?

Do the mrpi step then Try placing hotfix bin under mrpackages folder and run ;log mrpi

You likely need to run the hotfix booklet again

@jollySleeper If KOReader does not open, make sure you install KOReader KindleHF https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/Installation-on-Kindle-devices#:~:text=KindleHF%3A%20Any%20kindle%20running%20firmware%20%3E%3D%205.16.3

Yes, I have installed the same version you have mentioned but no luck. Same issue persists.

Edit: I wonder if there is some leftover file that persists after resetting if you've jailbroken- I tried doing the languagebreak exploit on my kindle but I wasn't able to set up the hotfix, eventually just reset the kindle and gave up

+1 on this issue — after countless factory resets, reinstalling latest firmware multiple times, even trying demo -> resell, I can't get WinterBreak to load when launching Kindle Store. Either the store loads as normal or I get the "Kindle Store experienced an unexpected error."

I was not able to find a solution and I just gave up🥲.
Only option for us now is to sell the current device and buy a new one 😞

This should be fixed in the latest release, re-jailbreak with latest WinterBreak
