What's new

  • DSi: much better matching. When a file's name and header are not enough, the console hashes the ROM and asks again, so a good dump gets its cover no matter what the file is called.
  • DSi: new Scan mode setting, Complete (default) or Quick, which skips the hash fallback.
  • DSi: new scan screen with live counters, a browsable results list afterwards, and SELECT to show a game's CRC32, handy for checking your dumps.
  • Covers: revision variants in the libretro thumbnail set resolve properly now, so more covers actually arrive.
  • Desktop: checks for updates, plus macOS fixes.
  • This is probably the final version. :)

How to run it

Client How
Browser Open https://boxart.kirovair.com and press scan. Nothing to install.
Desktop Download the build for your platform from the assets below and run it.
DSi Copy TwilightBoxart-DSi.nds to your card and launch it from TWiLightMenu++ (DSi mode).
Self-hosted docker compose up -d with the compose file from the README.
