KlaatCode V2.4.4
KlaatCode v2.4.4
Reliability patch — four fixes for turns that stalled or showed garbage mid-task.
Fixed
multi_editno longer dies on redundant sub-edits — if one edit in a batch has identicalold_stringandnew_string, it is skipped as a no-op and the rest apply. Previously a single redundant edit (e.g. 1/12) aborted the whole batch and stalled the turn. Genuinely mismatched edits still abort atomically with nothing written.- Rate-limit drops retry instead of killing the turn — a
429mid tool-loop now waits for the server'sretry_after(capped at 30s) and auto-retries, showing⟳ Rate limited — waiting Ns, instead of falling through to a fatal "Something went wrong". - Stream errors no longer leave raw
<tool_call>XML on screen — partial output preserved from a dropped stream is masked the same way as live streaming, so a mid-block disconnect can't leave internal tool markup as the visible answer. - Exploration promises get the same nudge as action promises — "Let me read the rest of the file" followed by silence is now detected and nudged to act (read / check / inspect / verify / search verbs), not only "I'll fix it" style promises. "Let me know…" remains a normal hand-off.
Notes
- Pairs with a Klaatu gateway deploy from 2026-08-08 or later (relaxed rate limits for tool continuations + server-side handling of truncated tool-call blocks). Verify with
