Improvements

  • AI reading requests now route to the relevant original-text scope. Current-chapter vocabulary scans process the chapter text in batches and validate each listed term and quote against the source.
  • Follow-up questions no longer inherit unrelated chapter, selection, summary, or stale-source context.
  • Reader pagination keeps configured margins and avoids clipped text while changing column layouts or resizing the side panel.

Bug Fixes

  • When a reading range cannot be resolved safely, Lantern now reports that limitation instead of generating a chapter-specific answer from summaries or earlier replies.

macOS Installation

This build is ad-hoc signed. If macOS says the downloaded app is damaged, run:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/Lantern_2.0.6_aarch64.dmg

Then open the DMG and move Lantern to Applications. If the app was already copied, run:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Lantern.app
