recovery-v20260907
For a printer that went back to stock and has no Klipper.
The screen comes up and looks normal, and the machine will not
home, heat or print — however many times the stock FlashForge
package is flashed. One file it needs is one the stock package has
no copy of to put back. This puts it back.
How to use it
- Flash the stock FlashForge package for your model first, if
you have not already. - Copy the file below matching your printer —
Creator5-or
Creator5Pro-— to the root of a FAT32 USB stick. - Plug it in and power the printer on. It ends on the "power off"
screen, like any other flash. - Power-cycle. Klipper starts with the screen again.
Afterwards the stick carries anvil-recovery.txt saying what was
repaired, and the printer keeps the same text in
/usr/data/anvil-recovery.log.
What it does and does not touch
Your printer.cfg, and every calibrated value saved in it, is left
exactly as it is. On a printer still running Reforge this package
refuses and changes nothing — flash stock first.
