Billboard Engine is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.3. It turns any flat wall into a scrolling text billboard, a picture or an animation, all made of real blocks.

Watch the 77-second trailer on YouTube
- Text in a 5x7 font, 9 sizes, any full block as the pixel, scrolling or standing still.
- Pictures and animated GIFs: every pixel becomes the vanilla block with the closest color.
- Lua scripting built in: the Script Box runs your program right in the game. Clocks, slide shows, countdowns. No other mod needed.
- Redstone: a sign and a pulse start a text, and redstone blocks as pixels work like a punch card.
- CC: Tweaked works too, if you already use it: the engine is also a ComputerCraft peripheral with the same functions.
- The wall comes back exactly as it was. While a billboard is shown, nobody can mine its blocks.
- Getting started: install, recipes, your first billboard in five steps.
- Walls and the Selector Wand and The engine screen.
- Two ways to script, then the Examples to copy from.
Or just look first: the Gallery.
Needs Fabric API, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Java 25. On a server, install it on the server and on every client.
