🐛 Bug Fixes

Interface Builder & Code Editor

  • Fixed an issue where the scrollbar would disappear from the editor after saving (CTRL+S).
  • The code editor no longer disappears after saving in the repository.
  • The selected line in the code editor is now visually highlighted for better clarity.
  • Resolved a focus issue where creating a new widget would not transfer focus if a text field was open.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented viewing and editing repository code (the content would flash briefly and then disappear).

Views & MDX

  • Fixed an issue where cube cards would duplicate if a cube with a non-existent default view was clicked rapidly.
  • HTML tags in MDX and view names are now displayed as plain text instead of being rendered as formatted elements.
  • Resolved several issues related to the refresh and update of views and the list of available views.
  • Table formatting (e.g., column width) is no longer reset to its default state after a content update (UpdateContent).
  • A period (.) character in column names no longer causes display issues.
  • Cards can now be moved correctly on the "Create New View" screen.
  • The "JSON Tree" and "JSON" buttons in the MDX editor now function correctly..

Rules Module

  • The icon for switching to the normal editor (broom icon) in Global Settings is now functional.
  • Resolved an issue where the rule editor would fail to load, appearing as a blank and unresponsive window.

Dimensions & Subsets

  • The "contains" filter in the Subset Editor now works correctly for substrings in the middle of an element name.
  • Corrected several issues in the Subset Editor, including problems with level selection and MDX updates.
  • Fixed a bug where actions in the dimension editor were only executed on the second attempt.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented the selection of dimension elements in certain cases.

General & UI

  • Addressed a critical bug where text input fields (search, filter, editors, etc.) would occasionally become unusable, preventing typing.
  • The UI theme no longer reverts to 'light' mode after changing the font.
  • Corrected Dark Mode appearance on the "Import page" and "Copy entire widget" popups.
  • Fixed an MDX formatting error.

✨ New Features & Improvements

Views

  • It is now possible to create and save a new view without first selecting an existing one.
  • Added support for pasting into multiple cells (CTRL+V) in views.
  • Users can now insert rows, columns, or an entire matrix during cell editing.
  • Improved copy/selection functionality via column headers.
  • The paste function now "wraps around" the table to improve user experience.
  • The table navigation order (Tab order) has been rethought for better usability.
  • The default view that loads when opening a cube is now clearly indicated.
  • By default, views now display all elements for better transparency.

Rules & Processes

  • Added a Trace Calculation feature in the Rule Editor (Ace Editor) to debug calculations.
  • When a process fails to save due to a syntax error, the system now provides clear feedback, highlighting the problematic line.
  • The header of the rule editor now displays the name of the cube being edited.
  • The button for collapsing/expanding rules now works with a single click.
  • A timer is now displayed to show how long a process has been running.
  • The results of a query on the DataSource tab can now be exported to Excel.
  • Simplified the UI for Data\ sources.

Dimensions

  • Added Copy/Paste functionality between dimension elements, as well as cell value copying (CTRL+C).
  • A distinct arrow icon now indicates when a dimension has more than one hierarchy.
  • The default width of the "Level," "Type," and "Weight" columns has been reduced to optimize space.

UI & Usability

  • A new, streamlined interface for bulk renaming has been implemented, similar to the copy function.
  • Confirmation popups now clearly warn the user when an entire dimension is being deleted, not just the selected elements.
  • "Delete" and "Duplicate" functions have been added to the context menu.
  • Added a default maximum size for elements to prevent overly large displays.
  • Implemented cross-browser tab synchronization when a view is deleted.

Other Improvements

  • Introduced TM1 v12 compatibility.
