v1.5.1 - Theme contrast and rate-limit resilience

Choose a tag to compare

@KodyMike KodyMike released this 11 Sep 11:34

Fixes

  • Low contrast text on dark Plasma themes (#7) — secondary labels used disabledTextColor, which some schemes set close to the background (Edna: 2.04:1, below the 4.5:1 WCAG AA threshold). Now derived from the scheme's own text colour — Edna: 6.09:1. Usage bar tracks had the same bug and are fixed too.

  • "Rate limited" after a while (#1) — the widget now honours Retry-After and backs off instead of polling a limited token at full cadence, caches last-good data per provider so the bars stay up during a failure, and no longer polls hidden providers.

  • Version reporting — the plasmoid manifest said 1.1.0 in every release up to v1.4.0. It is now stamped from the release tag.

GNOME extension updated to version 3 (shares the same fetch script).

v1.4.0 - Per-provider refresh timers

Choose a tag to compare

@KodyMike KodyMike released this 08 Mar 14:09

What's New

  • Per-provider refresh intervals — Claude, Codex, and Gemini now refresh independently. Defaults: Claude every 10min (avoids API rate limiting), Codex every 1min (local files only), Gemini every 5min. Configurable in settings.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Codex showing 0% when session files contain rate_limits: null events
  • Fixed "7-day not tracked" label appearing during Claude API errors
  • Fixed widget showing blank instead of error indicator when script fails

v1.3.0 - Fix null rate_limits crash

@KodyMike KodyMike released this 06 Mar 23:16

Bug Fix

  • Fixed widget showing nothing when Codex emits rate_limits: null in session JSONL files. Python's dict.get('key', default) returns None when the key exists with a null value — now handled safely with or {}.
