What happened?
Hey folks!
I've bought a ZBM5-3C-120 (https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/ZBM5-3C-120.html#sonoff-zbm5-3c-120).
The idea is that the middle switch is controlling a dummy light with its on-off relay, and the top and bottom switches should control a group of Philips Hue bulb each. The switch is wired with neutral, and the top and bottom are using the "detach relay" mode so the Hue lights have power all the time. All this is connected to Zigbee2MQTT and I can interact with each one individually. The dummy light works as expected with the relay so no problem here.
The problem is that when I enable the detach relay mode to keep the Hue light alive, I have no idea how to make the buttons on this switch to turn on and off the Hue lights. They just don't do anything. I noticed on the switch Device > State tab on Zigbee2MQTT, that the state only changes for the switch 2, which is the one with the detach relay mode OFF and is connected to the dummy light. The ones with the detach relay mode ON, they just don't do anything, no events are fired when pressing them.
The end goal is that I have two groups of Philips Hue lights on Z2M, each of which is turned on and off thru Z2M using the ZBM5 buttons, and one button controlling the dummy light.
I've enabled the logs in debug mode (attached) and I see something along the lines when I press a button and it is in the detach mode:
[2025-02-08 18:49:14] debug: z2m: No converter available for 'ZBM5-3C-120' with cluster 'genOnOff' and type 'commandToggle' and data '{}'
Any idea what should be done?
Thank you! I really appreciate any help.
What did you expect to happen?
The events/actions for the switch buttons which are in detached relay mode would trigger.
How to reproduce it (minimal and precise)
Just go to the switch and enable detach mode on one of the buttons. After that, press on it. Nothing changes on the State tab.
