Release list
0.0.4
Bundles bpd, basedpython's debugger (basedpython-debugger 0.0.1a2), beside by and buff (basedpython 0.0.1b1), so debugging needs nothing installed.
One build per platform: macOS arm64/x64, Linux x64, Windows x64/arm64. Windows arm64 carries no bpd: basedpython-debugger publishes no build for it. No Linux arm64 build: basedpython 0.0.1b1 has no manylinux aarch64 wheel.

0.0.1-internal-api
A build of the internal-api-logpoints branch, for trying log points with the platform's own
inter-line machinery back in place. Not for Marketplace, and not a release of the plugin —
everything that makes this different from main is @ApiStatus.Internal.
Install: Settings | Plugins | ⚙ | Install Plugin from Disk…, pick the zip below, restart.
What to look at
- The yellow dot sits in the gap, level with its own
Log:box, instead of a line below it —
in PyCharm and in IntelliJ IDEA. - Hover between two line numbers in a
.byfile: the gutter opens a gap with an Add Log icon
in it. Click to put a log point there. (PyCharm only — IDEA's own provider owns that gap. Needs
Breakpoints Over Line Numbers, which is the gutter right-click menu under Appearance.) - Every log point is created between the lines, which is where it runs: after the line above,
before the line below. - In IDEA,
Ctrl+Alt+F8(Add Logpoint) now works on.byfiles at all.
Everything from main still holds: one caret, a yellow Log: caption when the box has focus,
rounded corners, an inlay on a log point added from the gutter menu, and Ctrl+Z taking one back.
Why it cannot ship
supportsInterLinePlacement, the placement enum and getter, the placement-filtered
findBreakpointsAtLine, and the whole InterLineBreakpointConfigurationProvider family are
internal. Marketplace declined this plugin's first submission over internal API and warns that
working around the check risks a permanent ban. docs/internal-api.md on the branch has the full
list, and the IJPL request is for supportsInterLinePlacement and
XLineBreakpointVerticalPlacement to be made public.
