Releases: Koutasora/Elemental-Temps
Release list
v1.1.4
Fixed
- GPU key showing "No GPU" while the card is listed in the settings: on systems where HWiNFO (8.46+) lists the integrated GPU (
iGPU) before the dedicated one (dGPU), the default card was the iGPU, which often has no temperature sensor. Dedicated cards are now always numbered first. - If the default card has no reading (for example a sleeping laptop GPU), the GPU key falls back to the first available card, dedicated before integrated.
Install: download com.elemental.temps.streamDeckPlugin below. If an older version is installed, remove it in Stream Deck first (Stream Deck ignores a package for an already installed plugin).
v1.1.3
Fixed
- Graphics cards are now detected when HWiNFO labels them
iGPU [#N]/dGPU [#N](newer HWiNFO versions) instead ofGPU [#N]. This fixes "No GPU found – check HWiNFO" on such systems. Integrated GPUs appear under "APU / iGPU" in Custom Sensor.
Install: download com.elemental.temps.streamDeckPlugin below. If an older version is installed, remove it in Stream Deck first (Stream Deck ignores a package for an already installed plugin).
v1.1.2
What's new
- History graph is livelier: the scale now zooms in tighter, so changes of a degree or two are clearly visible instead of looking like a flat line.
Install: download com.elemental.temps.streamDeckPlugin and open it. If the plugin is already installed, replace the folder %APPDATA%\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\com.elemental.temps.sdPlugin instead (Stream Deck silently ignores the package for an installed plugin).
v1.1.1
What's new
- Device lists in the settings panel (graphics card, disk, custom sensor) now say why they are empty - "Start HWiNFO", "Enable HWiNFO Shared Memory" or "No GPU found - check HWiNFO".
- The graphics card field no longer stays blank after HWiNFO was closed and started again.
- Notes recommending an up-to-date HWiNFO (new CPUs and graphics cards only appear in recent versions).
- Custom Sensor panel: clearer layout of the info note.
Install: download com.elemental.temps.streamDeckPlugin and open it. If the plugin is already installed, replace the folder %APPDATA%\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\com.elemental.temps.sdPlugin instead (Stream Deck silently ignores the package for an installed plugin).
v1.1.0
What's new
- Custom Sensor action: show any HWiNFO reading on a key - water/coolant temperature, fan and pump RPM, voltages, power, load. The list is grouped into Motherboard, CPU, GPU, APU, Disks and Fans; optional key label and scale maximum.
- Looser GPU sensor matching (should help newer NVIDIA cards, e.g. RTX 50 series).
- Settings panel fixes: the language switch no longer hangs the graphics card list, drop-down menus fill correctly, and the chosen language is remembered.
Elemental Temps 1.0.1
Fixed
- Gauge glow no longer gets cut off by a hard vertical edge.
All other features and requirements are unchanged from 1.0.0 – see the README.
Elemental Temps 1.0.0
CPU, GPU, disk temperatures and RAM usage on your Stream Deck keys.
Highlights
- Four actions: CPU Temperature, GPU Temperature, Disk Temperature, RAM Usage, each with its own settings
- Charts: gauge, bar, history graph or just a big number
- Colors by thresholds (green → amber → red) or your own color; default, black or custom background
- Optional load, power draw and clock speed (CPU / GPU)
- Flashing red alarm above a critical temperature, with an optional sound
- Pick the exact disk or graphics card from a list
- Key press can refresh the reading or switch the chart type
- Settings panel in English and Polish
Requirements
- Windows 10/11 and Stream Deck software 7.1 or newer
- HWiNFO running in Sensors mode with Shared Memory Support enabled (Settings). RAM usage works without it.
Install
Download com.elemental.temps.streamDeckPlugin below and double-click it. Then drag one of the actions (category Elemental Temps) onto a key.
Good to know
- The free version of HWiNFO switches Shared Memory off after about 12 hours. The key then shows Enable HWiNFO Shared Memory; enable it again and the data comes back by itself.
- The plugin starts a small
powershell.exehelper to read HWiNFO's shared memory. Locked-down PCs or aggressive antivirus may block it. - Developed and tested on Intel + NVIDIA. AMD CPUs and Radeon / Intel GPUs are supported through HWiNFO sensor names and are less tested. If a key shows No data although HWiNFO sees the sensor, please open an issue.
- Nothing is sent over the network.
