v0.4.0
MONARK v0.4.0 — Narabi runs: an adaptive quantile tracker on the attested USDe flow, published daily
This release adds the primitive and the sentinel that make Narabi a running sensor rather than a
committed table.
The primitive is a quantile tracker in the sense of Angelopoulos, Barber and Bates (2024): one
caller-carried state, a decaying step, no clamp. It is a pure function in packages/hikae with its own
tests; nothing in the gate calls it.
The sentinel is a daily job outside the tool surface. Each day it takes the finalized block window,
recomputes the AttestedFlow attestation from onchain bytes, derives the redemption velocity, steps the
tracker on the realized outcome, and appends one line to a hash-chained JSONL timeline. The timeline and
the current state are published at https://monarkgate.tech/narabi/ so anyone can replay them from the
same public RPC data. The first published window is 2026-09-17; that is day zero, and the tracker takes
its first step the day after.
What the tracker does and does not do, stated plainly. The tracker adapts; the gate does not yet. The
gate still answers from the committed split-conformal calibration of v0.3.0, for the single USDe
population, and every other population abstains under_calib. The bound printed each day is Theorem 1 of
the same paper, (B + eta_1) / (T times eta_T), with c = B = 1/24 and epsilon = 0.1; it stays above the
target 0.10 until T = 1789. No coverage is measured. The committed calibration was found non-stationary
across semesters on the recorded series, so the calibration is stated under the split-conformal bound
of Barber, Candes, Ramdas and Tibshirani (2023) with unit weights, and the wire says so. The gate would
switch to the tracker only when a pre-registered drift criterion fires and an ADR records it.
Also in this release: the sentinel's RPC quorum survives a dead public endpoint (it needed two responding ones
and had no fallback), the public texts and the fleet register now say four agents built and seven named,
and the skill text carries the same sentence as the README about what adaptive means here.
Apache 2.0. Five frozen typed contracts. Never a probability of being right.
