• Eight public surfaces — video_review_package, video_publish_gate, video_review_decision, video_learning_report, video_cost_ledger, video_recipe_capture, video_capabilities, video_benchmark_run — exposing the contract-first AI-video review, publish-gate, learning, cost, recipe, capability, and benchmark engines to agents and operators across MCP, CLI, and the Python client (previously internal records).

• Published surface: 142 -> 150 MCP tools, 121 -> 129 CLI commands. All parity invariants (count tests, public doc claims, the client CLIENT_METHOD_CONTRACTS registry, and the server.py thin-facade cap) re-synced for the cutover.

Compatibility

• pip install -U kinocut to 1.9.0. The mcp-video==1.6.2 compatibility shim now installs kinocut==1.9.0; mcp_video imports, MCP_VIDEO_* env vars, ~/.mcp-video, mcp-video://, and legacy receipt keys remain supported on the 1.9.x line.
