desk-look 0.65.6
Agent rows now carry the agent's name, the same one the footer list shows.
/desk-activitylanes and agent rows, the progress band, background task cards and the "Waiting for … agents" rows labelled every agent with its type, so threegeneral-purposeagents looked alike. They now show the name SendMessage addresses (route-agent,save-agent, …), and fall back to the type when an agent has none. The task detail still lists the type under Kind

desk-look 0.65.5
The activity panel now redraws once every two seconds, also while several agents run.
- In
/desk-activity, each step of a running agent redrew the panel at once, so with two or more agent rails the bars and the elapsed time moved several times a second. The panel now takes in what changed at its two-second clock. Scrolling and unfolding an agent still respond at once

desk-look 0.65.4
The activity panel can now show what each agent did, not only the main conversation's calls.
- Click an agent under Agents in
/desk-activityto unfold its own calls below it: reads and searches folded into one line, edits with+N −M, commands with their result and time, in the same form as the flow. Click it again to fold it.View transcriptat the end of the row opens the agent in/desk-tasks - A pane opened from a button in another pane (an agent's
View transcript, the progress band) now comes to the front. Before, while you held the pane you clicked in, Claude Code kept the new pane behind it as a tab

desk-look 0.65.3
The activity panel no longer looks frozen while background agents from an earlier turn are still working.
- The panel keeps showing the last turn that used tools, so text-only replies leave it unchanged. Agents started in an earlier turn were left out of that view even while they kept running, so only the Main lane was drawn. Agents that ran during the shown turn, or are still running, now get their lane and a row under Agents, wherever they were started
- When text-only turns have passed since the shown turn, the header now says how long ago that turn ended, for example
Last turn · 7s · 12m ago - The panel keeps the last 400 calls. Calls from long-running agents could push the main conversation's calls out of that limit. The main conversation and agents now each get their own 400

desk-look 0.65.2
Background shells started by a subagent no longer stay "Running" in the Background tasks panel after they exit.
- Claude Code delivers a background shell's completion notice to the loop that started it. When a subagent started the shell, the notice went into that subagent's turn and never reached desk-look, so the panel kept showing the task as running, with its timer still going, long after the command had exited
- desk-look now also reads the
[exited with code N]line that Claude Code appends to a background shell's output file. Exit code 0 marks the task completed, and any other code marks it failed. The file is read again only when its size changes - Tasks already stuck as running are corrected the next time the panel refreshes after

desk-look 0.65.1
While a herdr --remote client is attached, your prompt bubble keeps its shape on terminals that cannot show Kitty images, such as foot.
- herdr sends the same screen to every attached client and does not tell apps which terminals they are. A remote client such as foot drops Kitty images, so the rounded corners of a multi-line bubble left empty cells there, which made the top and bottom rows look one cell narrower on each side, and attached image thumbnails left a blank gap
- desk-look now checks for a remote herdr client when a session starts and each time you send a prompt. While one is attached, bubbles draw their corners with glyphs and skip thumbnails. The
└ [Image #N]line under the bubble still lists the images. Once the remote client leaves, the next prompt brings back the rounded corners and thumbnails, including on bubbles already on screen - Right after a remote client attaches, the screen keeps the previous look until you send the first prompt. Local-only herdr and terminals outside herdr look the same as before

❝ quote on the end-of-turn line now quotes that turn's answer, the /desk-activity pane keeps its timeline in view while you scroll, and desk-look passes the plugin directory's check again.
❝ quotequotes the answer of the turn it sits under, or only the part you selected, if you selected text inside that answer. It used to insert whatever you last selected anywhere in the conversation, and did nothing with no selection./desk-quotestill quotes your selection/desk-activity: the header (turn time, Main/agent/Background bars, axis and legend) stays at the top while the Flow, agent and background rows scroll beneath it. Only the rows on screen are drawn, so the 2-second redraw during a turn draws less. A pane too short to leave 5 rows under the header scrolls as before- The plugin directory blocked desk-look because it hooked
prompt.change, an event its list does not have yet. That hook is gone: quotes desk-look inserts are styled as soon as they go in, and typed or pasted>lines are styled as before. A prompt recalled from history shows its quote lines plain until you type

desk-look 0.64.0
Slack conversations in /desk-slack now read like Slack: formatted text, code blocks, links, date lines, grouped messages, attachments, and terminal tables redrawn to fit the pane.
- Messages were plain text with Slack's markup left in (
*bold*,```,>,Files: …lines). They are now drawn with desk-look's Markdown renderer: bold, italic, strikethrough, code blocks (also when opened and closed on one line), clickable links, mentions,•lists, quotes and rules - A date line marks where the day changes, the time next to a name is the clock time, and messages one person sends within 5 minutes share one name line
- Attachments show as
📎 name · size - Code pasted without a fence keeps its indentation, and text copied from a terminal (every line after the first indented the same) is un-indented so its lists and rules line up
- A table pasted from a terminal (drawn with
│and─┼─) is rebuilt, joining the rows the terminal had wrapped, and redrawn to fit the pane, or as one card per row when the columns would cut words - The conversation list and notifications no longer show raw
```or> - desk-look's Markdown renderer gains two options for this (line breaks kept, cards for narrow tables), off by default, so Claude's replies look the same
desk-look 0.63.0
The Slack ✉ chip now opens the Slack pane at once, even while Claude is working, and the /desk-activity legend explains the gray ▪ bars.
- Pressing the ✉ chip under the prompt during a turn did nothing until the turn ended, because the chip ran
/desk-slackthe way a plugin runs a command, which waits for the session to be idle. desk-look now tells desk-slack directly, so the pane opens and refreshes right away - The
/desk-activitytimeline drew calls to other tools (MCP tools, skills, questions and the like) as gray▪bars without saying what they were. The legend now adds▪ otherwhen the turn has such calls
desk-look 0.62.1
Subagents and commands no longer look the same in the /desk-activity timeline when your theme gives them the same color.
- Agent runs are now drawn as a double line
═, and commands keep the heavy line━, in both the lanes and the legend. Before, both used━and were told apart only by color, so in custom themes where theclaudeandplanModecolors are close (for example, two shades of blue) you could not tell them apart
