v0.15.1

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 28 Sep 04:54

Nultron 0.15.1

The app on your computer is still named DPSBuddy. These notes are for that installer.

Updates

  • Check for updates tries again when the connection drops. A short interruption used to stop the check. The app now tries three times before it shows an error.
  • The check talks to the current release page directly, so it no longer depends on the old page name.

Education

  • Education opens with a lesson topic and Create. Quiz, pages, the show view, save, and shape tools sit under More.
  • The lesson uses the same simple slide stage as Presentation.

Presentation

  • Presentation opens with a topic, a length, a style, and Create. Once the slides are up, Download is the main button.
  • The builder, the model, starters, templates, and shape tools sit under More.
  • Open Slide is a second way to build a deck, next to the one you already have. You edit the words on the slide. A selected shape gets a small toolbar.

Finance

  • Finance starts by asking what you want to do, and offers five plain choices.
  • You can type the sample numbers as a sentence. The figures are still calculated in the app.

Chat

  • A small figure sits on an empty chat and beside a reply while it is being written.
  • A link, a file, or an image in a reply shows as a card.
  • Starting a new chat shows the reply immediately.

First run

  • The welcome screen is three steps. A short hello, your Toko Token key, then four examples that open Chat.
  • The gateway address is not on that screen.

Research

  • Research no longer asks for a separate search key. It uses Wikipedia and open scholarly sources. A search key you already saved is still used.

The desk

  • Each page scrolls on its own. In Chat and Edit, the box you type in stays put while the thread moves.
  • Wide windows use the extra room. Lines of writing stay at a comfortable width.

Also in this version

  • Prompt ideas in the studios sit under the template list.
  • Chat uses the width of the desk.
  • Video offers only models that answered a live check.

Files to download

  • Windows. DPSBuddy-Setup-0.15.1.exe
  • macOS (preview). DPSBuddy-0.15.1-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), DPSBuddy-0.15.1-mac-x64.dmg for Intel

Windows

  • Run DPSBuddy-Setup-0.15.1.exe and follow the installer.
  • The installer is not code-signed yet. If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway.
  • Installing over an existing copy replaces the app and keeps your settings, workspaces, and Knowledge Base. An installed copy can take this version from inside the app.

macOS (preview)

  • Open the .dmg and drag DPSBuddy to Applications.
  • This preview is not signed by Apple, so macOS will say it cannot verify the developer.
    • macOS 15 and later. Double-click the app, dismiss the warning, then open System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.
    • macOS 14 and earlier. Right-click DPSBuddy.app, choose Open, then Open again.
    • If it still refuses, run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/DPSBuddy.app in Terminal.
  • Keychain. When macOS asks, choose Always Allow.
  • Closing and quitting. Closing the window keeps DPSBuddy in the Dock. Click the Dock icon to come back. Cmd+Q quits.
  • Video editing needs ffmpeg (brew install ffmpeg). Everything else works without it.
  • Updates on macOS are manual. Download the new .dmg from here and drag it over the old app. Your settings and workspaces stay in ~/Library/Application Support/DPSBuddy.
  • Please report anything odd on macOS on the issues page, with your macOS version and chip.

v0.15.0

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 23 Sep 11:25

DPSBuddy 0.15.0

The desk got easier to read

  • Light is now the normal look, with white pages and near-black text. Dark is still there and one click away in the rail; your choice is remembered.
  • Text is darker and larger where it matters. Nothing in the app is gray-on-gray any more — several labels that were hard to read now meet the accessibility contrast standard.
  • The whole desk floats on a soft blue shadow, with tighter, squarer corners. It reads as one surface instead of a set of grey boxes.
  • New typeface throughout, bundled inside the app the same as before. DPSBuddy still works with no internet connection.

Every mode now tells you what you get

  • Each mode opens with one plain sentence about the result, not a paragraph of instructions. Finance says: "You get: a written brief with every core metric — margins, burn, runway, breakeven, NPV — computed in code and traced."
  • The how-to details moved out of the way. Optional settings — a discount rate, a resolution, a style tag — are folded under Advanced until you want them, so a first run is just the box and the button.
  • Fewer repeated instructions. Text that told you the same thing three times is gone.

Chat

  • Four ideas to start from on an empty chat: shape a plan, summarise something, rewrite for a reader, think a decision through. Each one drops a ready-made prompt into the box for you to edit.
  • Tool activity is folded into "Thinking". What DPSBuddy looked up or calculated is now inside the thinking panel instead of above your answer, and it is written in plain words — "Past chats · list → none" rather than a block of code. It opens while DPSBuddy works and folds away when the answer lands; open it any time to see what it did.
  • The composer is simpler. One instruction instead of three, and the attach control is a small paperclip in the toolbar.
  • The Thinking control is one clean dropdown showing just the level — Off, Light, Normal, Deep, Extra, Max, Ultra.

Fixed

  • "Sign out" looks like it works now. On a machine with a saved key, signing out forgets the key and returns you to the welcome screen asking for one.
  • Three modes had an invisible text box. In Documents, Research and Presentation, the prompt field had no border — you could type into an apparently empty space. It now has a visible outline, and it lights up blue when you click into it.
  • The left rail no longer hides two modes. "Show specialists" and "Show tasks" used to sit right on top of the Market and Finance names, pushing them out of view. The arrows are on their own now.
  • The rail footer buttons were dark-on-dark and hard to see. All three are even, aligned, 32-pixel buttons.
  • "Offline demo" is gone. Settings used to say it even when no key was saved, which was simply untrue. It now says what is actually going on: No key — paste one below.
  • The Menu and language fields in Meeting no longer run their labels into their dropdowns.
  • The "New" badges on Music and Meeting are removed.
  • Selected items in the rail are highlighted by colour alone — the extra blue stripe down the left edge is gone.

Better on a big screen

  • Wide windows are used properly. Pages used to stop at a fixed width and leave a large empty margin either side; they now widen with the window. Lines of prose stay at a comfortable reading width, so text does not stretch across a 32-inch monitor.
  • The chat lines up. The title, your messages and the composer now share the same column instead of drifting apart.

Also new since 0.14.27

0.15.0 is the first installer since 0.14.27, so it also carries everything built in between.

Music

  • A new Music mode. Describe a song in a sentence, or paste your own lyrics with a style and a title, and DPSBuddy makes the track. Each request comes back as two takes, billed once, and both are saved to the library under the form.
  • Draft lyrics writes a set of lyrics for you to edit before you spend anything on a song. Style, title and Instrumental sit under Advanced.
  • Music runs on your gateway key, like Images and Videos. A song takes a few minutes; leave the page open while it works.

Meeting

  • A new Meeting mode. Give it a recording, or paste a transcript, and you get the transcript, minutes (who attended, what was decided, who owes what by when, risks and open questions), and the same minutes in the other language, English or Indonesian.
  • Record from your microphone. A Record button sits beside the file picker, with pause, resume and a running timer. Recordings stop at 25 MB, about two hours, and keep everything up to that point.
  • A failed upload does not lose the recording. It stays on screen with Retry upload, so you can try again.
  • Reading a recording needs ffmpeg, the same as video editing. Without it, Meeting tells you so, and a pasted transcript still works.
  • Replacing a meeting's recording deletes the old file instead of leaving it on disk.

Channels

  • Post to Telegram from your desk. The new Channels page connects a Telegram bot you create with @/BotFather. Add the groups or channels you have put the bot in, post to one, and press Check for new messages to pull in the replies.
  • The bot token is stored encrypted on this computer and is never shown again.
  • DPSBuddy fetches new messages only when you check. It never opens a way for Telegram to reach into your computer. Messages travel through Telegram in the clear, so post only what you would put in a group chat.

Fixes and safety underneath

  • Video editing: silence and scene detection no longer fail with an ffmpeg error on clips whose length is not a whole number of seconds. A file Edit cannot really read is refused when you import it, and nothing is left behind. When ffmpeg does fail, the message no longer shows file paths from your computer.
  • Web pages DPSBuddy fetches for you are checked more strictly. Addresses inside your own network are refused more thoroughly, including web names that point there and pages that redirect there.
  • Keys and tokens are kept out of the app's own logs.

Files to download

  • Windows: DPSBuddy-Setup-0.15.0.exe
  • macOS (preview): DPSBuddy-0.15.0-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), DPSBuddy-0.15.0-mac-x64.dmg for Intel

Windows

  • Run DPSBuddy-Setup-0.15.0.exe and follow the installer.
  • The installer is not code-signed yet. If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info → Run anyway.
  • Installing over an existing copy replaces the app and keeps your settings, workspaces and Knowledge Base. Already-installed copies are offered this version in the app.

macOS (preview)

  • Open the .dmg and drag DPSBuddy to Applications.
  • The preview build is not signed by Apple, so macOS will say it cannot verify the developer.
    • macOS 15 and later: double-click the app, dismiss the warning, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
    • macOS 14 and earlier: right-click DPSBuddy.app, choose Open, then Open again.
    • If it still refuses, run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/DPSBuddy.app in Terminal.
  • Keychain. When macOS asks, choose Always Allow.
  • Closing and quitting. Closing the window keeps DPSBuddy in the Dock; click the Dock icon to come back. Cmd+Q quits.
  • Video editing needs ffmpeg (brew install ffmpeg). Everything else works without it.
  • Updates on macOS are manual. Download the new .dmg from here and drag it over the old app; your settings and workspaces stay in ~/Library/Application Support/DPSBuddy.
  • Please report anything odd on macOS on the issues page, with your macOS version and chip.

A note on what changed underneath

Apart from the new modes above, 0.15.0 is a look-and-feel release. Nothing was removed from what 0.14.27 could do — Finance's five tasks, the Market analyst team, the rail sessions, local file reading, the first-run setup and the Knowledge Base all work exactly as before. If a familiar control moved, it is almost certainly behind an Advanced line or an arrow now.

v0.14.27

Choose a tag to compare

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 18 Sep 01:47

DPSBuddy 0.14.27

Finance does five kinds of work

  • Finance is no longer one button. Under Finance in the left rail you now pick the job: a brief, ratios, a budget, cash flow, or an appraisal. Each one asks for what it needs and nothing else.
  • The numbers are worked out by DPSBuddy, not written by the model. Totals, ratios, NPV and runway are calculated from the rows you confirmed. The model names the categories and writes the words around them — it never invents an amount.
  • A sheet's own totals are no longer added in twice, so a revenue line stays the size you typed it.
  • Open a spreadsheet or a report instead of typing figures. Upload an Excel file, a PDF, a Word document or a presentation and DPSBuddy reads the tables out of it, shows you the rows, and waits for you to confirm them — the same step as pasting.
  • One export button. Send the finished work to Excel, PowerPoint or Word, and DPSBuddy remembers the format you used last. Charts now appear on screen above the written brief.

Your files are read on your computer

  • DPSBuddy reads PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OpenDocument, RTF and EPUB files on this machine. Nothing is sent away to be converted.
  • Scans are not sent anywhere either. A picture-only PDF is refused with a plain message rather than uploaded to a text-recognition service.
  • If a file's name and its contents disagree, it is refused instead of guessed at.

First run sets itself up

  • DPSBuddy now installs the pieces it needs by itself the first time you open it. You will see a short setup step during the welcome screens, and nothing to download or install by hand.
  • It only ever fetches the exact package it expects, and checks it before using it. If the step cannot finish, the app still opens and still works — file reading simply falls back to the simpler reader.
  • Video editing still needs ffmpeg on macOS; that one is next.

Market Watch

  • The specialists moved into the left rail. Click Market and every specialist is listed underneath — stocks, crypto, forex, gold and minerals, commodities, indices, news, summary, scanner and the rest. Picking one switches the whole desk.
  • Each specialist keeps its own watchlist. The tickers you add to crypto stay on crypto; stocks keeps its own.
  • A team of analysts, on request. Instead of a single pass, a briefing can be built by several analysts working on the same packet, followed by a bull case, a bear case, a risk read and a balanced summary. It gives no rating, no price target and no instruction to buy or sell, and it always carries the disclaimer.
  • More free sources, with no extra key to buy: CoinGecko and funding rates for crypto, metals, company fundamentals and insider activity, global macro headlines, and public discussion from Reddit and StockTwits. Every number in the briefing is still worked out by DPSBuddy.

Chat sessions in the left rail

  • Your recent conversations now sit under Chat in the left rail, with All sessions opening the full list in place. The separate conversation column is gone, which gives the chat itself the width back.
  • Opening an old conversation and typing straight away no longer starts a new one by mistake.
  • The usage figure next to the composer works again.

Knowledge Base

  • The page is simpler. A health strip at the top counts work cards, what you added by hand, what is indexed and what has been used, with a self-check button. The map is tucked behind Show map until you want it.
  • Removing something really removes it. Deleting a source, a conversation, a dataset or a legal matter now clears its place on the map, its history, and — for files you uploaded — the stored copy of the file. Old leftovers are cleaned up as you go.
  • Market briefings file themselves like every other result, and sending a result to the Knowledge Base now labels it by what it actually is.
  • A web page you upload is read as text, the way a pasted link already was.

Also in this release

  • A busy model no longer wastes your run. If the model a job picked is unreachable, DPSBuddy retries once on the next one and tells you it switched.
  • Indonesian identity numbers are protected. NIK, NPWP, bank account numbers and local phone numbers are masked before anything leaves your computer, alongside the kinds already covered — and in Finance, a column of names or ID numbers is masked while the amounts beside it are left exactly as they are.
  • The gateway address is no longer shown in Settings or on the welcome screen; it was already fixed and not editable.
  • Dropdowns in Videos, Images and Presentation no longer clip their text, and scrollbars follow the app's own light and dark colours.

Files to download

  • Windows: DPSBuddy-Setup-0.14.27.exe
  • macOS (preview): DPSBuddy-0.14.27-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), DPSBuddy-0.14.27-mac-x64.dmg for Intel

Windows

  • Run DPSBuddy-Setup-0.14.27.exe and follow the installer.

  • Keychain. When macOS asks, choose Always Allow.

v0.14.26

Choose a tag to compare

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 15 Sep 09:18

DPSBuddy 0.14.26

Start over

  • Sign out of the gateway. Settings now has a Start over card. Sign out of the gateway removes your API key from every desk and returns the app to the welcome screen. Your threads, Knowledge Base and workspaces stay exactly where they are — it is a sign-out, not a delete.
  • Reset to a fresh install. The second button wipes this computer's DPSBuddy data and restarts the app as if it had just been installed. It asks you to type RESET first, and until you restart you can still call it off.

Gateway status

  • Settings shows a status row for your API key: whether the key is working, when it was last checked, and why it is not working if it is not. Re-check asks the gateway again on the spot.
  • Saving a key now verifies it immediately instead of failing later inside a job. If the key checks out and you go offline, DPSBuddy keeps working for a week on the last good check.

Bahasa Indonesia everywhere

  • Every mode now follows the app language. Chat, Presentation, Documents, Research, Finance, Data, Market, Legal, Images, Videos and Edit all write and label in Bahasa Indonesia when the app is set to Indonesian — including the model pickers, the example galleries, error messages, and the names new conversations are given.
  • Images and Videos also set the language of text drawn into the picture or the clip.

Finance

  • Generate from a typed brief. Paste or type a brief with figures in it and press Generate — DPSBuddy reads the figures out of your brief and fills the rows for you instead of stopping to tell you to add items first. It says how many figures it found.
  • Figures keep their size. "IDR 18.4B" is now read as 18,400,000,000, so stored items, the DOCX and the NPV / runway numbers are right.
  • Reliable on the default model. Finance and Documents used to fail partway through on the model they pick by default, while the model was in fact still working. Runs are now given the time a thinking model needs, and jobs ask for a faster answer. A quiet stretch during drafting is the model thinking, not a stall.
  • Downloading a Finance brief as Word is its own button on the studio header again.

Cost estimate in Images and Videos

  • Before you generate, each model shows an estimated price from the model provider's published list price — roughly what an image or a second of video costs — so you can compare models before spending. Each picker row ends with a short price like $0.03/img or $0.12/s, and the estimate line says how a model compares with the cheapest one.
  • This is an estimate at provider list price in USD, not a bill: your gateway charges its own rate, which is currently lower. A few models have no published price yet and say so.

Also in this release

  • Failure messages arrive sooner and in your language. When the gateway refuses a request, DPSBuddy now says so in the app language with the status code, instead of passing through whatever the upstream service said.
  • Security hardening across the app and the desktop shell.
  • Chat keeps the composer on one row, the rail and the conversation list can be resized, and an available update is easier to spot.

Files to download

  • Windows: DPSBuddy-Setup-0.14.26.exe
  • macOS (preview): DPSBuddy-0.14.26-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), DPSBuddy-0.14.26-mac-x64.dmg for Intel

macOS (preview)

  • Please report anything odd on macOS on the issues page, with your macOS version and chip.

v0.14.25

Choose a tag to compare

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 12 Sep 13:27

DPSBuddy 0.14.25

Market

  • Watch a list, then read a briefing. Type tickers from any market (US, IDX, futures, ^VIX…) and DPSBuddy shows live prices and charts with no API key. When you want a written briefing, add your gateway key and press Write a briefing. This is analysis, not investment advice — it will not tell you to buy or sell now.
  • Quotes, charts, headlines, and macro levels are fetched on your machine. You can download a DOCX. The default briefing language is Bahasa Indonesia.

Knowledge Base

  • Knowledge stays on this computer. Chat can cite sources. PDF and Word files can be added. The map shows how facts connect. Finished Chat turns and job results still leave a short card in Sources on their own.

Workspaces

  • Add another desk and pick which tabs it shows. The Default desk cannot be deleted.

Files to download

  • Windows: DPSBuddy-Setup-0.14.25.exe
  • macOS (preview): DPSBuddy-0.14.25-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), DPSBuddy-0.14.25-mac-x64.dmg for Intel

macOS (preview)

  • Open the .dmg and drag DPSBuddy to Applications.
  • The preview build is not signed by Apple, so macOS will say it cannot verify the developer.
    • macOS 15 and later: double-click the app, dismiss the warning, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
    • macOS 14 and earlier: right-click DPSBuddy.app, choose Open, then Open again.
    • If it still refuses, run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/DPSBuddy.app in Terminal.

v0.14.24

Choose a tag to compare

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 09 Sep 03:56

DPSBuddy 0.14.24

Agentforge is now DPSBuddy

  • New name, new icon. The app, installer, Start menu entry and window title are now DPSBuddy, with the DPS chevron mark. Everything else works the same.
  • Your data comes along. Installing over Agentforge 0.14.23 upgrades it in place. On first launch DPSBuddy picks up your threads, settings, Knowledge Base and saved gateway key from the Agentforge install; nothing has to be re-entered.
  • Updates keep working. Releases now live at github.com/Kyoo032/DPSBuddy. An installed 0.14.23 still finds this release from Check for updates; from 0.14.24 on, the app reads the new address directly.
  • Files to download: DPSBuddy-Setup-0.14.24.exe for Windows, DPSBuddy-0.14.24-mac-arm64.dmg / DPSBuddy-0.14.24-mac-x64.dmg for macOS (preview, manual update as before).

Also in this release

  • Job studios scroll properly on small windows, and the rail footer is tidier with a clearer theme toggle in dark mode.
  • macOS shell rows read the same as on Windows.
  • Everything from 0.14.23 (Legal preview, Knowledge Base work cards, offline hardening, bundled video examples) is included.

v0.14.23

Choose a tag to compare

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 08 Sep 15:25

Agentforge 0.14.23

Legal (preview)

  • Review a matter of .docx files. Create a matter, say which side you act for, upload the drafts, and run. Agentforge classifies each document, compares the counterparty's draft with your prior turn to find unmarked changes, reviews clause by clause against a playbook checklist and the executed documents, and drafts the deliverables.
  • Checked before you see it. Every quote is verified verbatim against the source, numbers and cross-references are traced in code, and a second pass reads the draft as opposing counsel. Anything that fails is fixed and checked again, up to three rounds. The verification report is part of the result.
  • Deliverables: an issues memorandum (DOCX with real tables), a redline with tracked changes and margin comments, a deviation report (XLSX), and a red-flags summary. Send to Knowledge Base saves the memo; Open in Documents continues from it; Next turn starts the following round from this one.
  • v1 accepts .docx only; convert PDFs and other formats first. Live runs need a gateway key; creating a matter, uploading files, and setting document roles work without one.

Knowledge Base learns from your work

  • Every finished Chat turn, document, research dossier, data analysis, finance brief, image, video, and presentation now leaves a short text card in the Knowledge Base on its own. Files stay where they are; the card points at them.
  • Chat uses those cards on later questions, but never its own last answer.
  • Knowledge → Sources shows the cycle (Work → Saved → Indexed → Retrieved) and a count per type. Send to Knowledge Base on a result tells you when it is already there.
  • Deleting a conversation or a saved result removes its card.

Videos

  • Example clips. Six short example videos made from the prompt templates ship with the app. Click one to load its prompt; nothing is downloaded.
  • When the video model refuses a job, you now see the real reason and a hint to try later or pick another model, instead of "success".

Works without internet

  • The app opens, saves settings, and stores knowledge with no network at all. Fonts now ship with the app.
  • When the gateway cannot be reached, Chat stops within seconds with a plain message instead of waiting minutes.

Chat

  • While a model is being contacted, Chat shows Thinking… and the send button reads Sending…. Retry details only appear if the model cannot be reached after three tries.

Everywhere

  • Research, Finance, Data, Documents, Images, Videos, and Presentation scroll again when their content is taller than the window.
  • The theme switch is an icon in the rail footer, and active items stay readable in dark mode.
  • Personal data in Knowledge Base cards is masked, text that tries to steer the model is never stored as a source, and a workspace can only see its own conversations.

macOS (preview)

  • Pick the file for your Mac: Agentforge-0.14.23-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), Agentforge-0.14.23-mac-x64.dmg for Intel. Drag Agentforge to Applications. A release without .dmg files is Windows-only.
  • First launch. The preview build is not signed by Apple, so macOS will say it cannot verify the developer. On macOS 15 and later: double-click the app, dismiss the warning, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. On macOS 14 and earlier: right-click Agentforge.app, choose Open, then Open again. If it still refuses, run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Agentforge.app in Terminal.
  • Keychain. When macOS asks, choose Always Allow.
  • Video editing needs ffmpeg (brew install ffmpeg). Everything else works without it.
  • Updates on macOS are manual. Download the new .dmg from here and drag it over the old app; your settings and workspaces stay.
  • Please report anything odd on macOS on the issues page, with your macOS version and chip.

v0.14.22

Choose a tag to compare

@Kyoo032 Kyoo032 released this 07 Sep 14:44

Agentforge 0.14.22

Research

  • A real dossier, not a list of snippets. Research now plans several searches, reads the pages behind the results, and builds a cited dossier: sources with verbatim passages, findings that cite them, contradictions, and open questions. Watch each step as it happens, and cancel a run at any time.
  • Results are saved. Reopen earlier runs from Reopen saved research…, or switch between the Notes and Dossier tabs.
  • Use it elsewhere. Under each result: Download Markdown, Send to Knowledge Base, Make a document, and Make a presentation.

Data

  • Upload a CSV or XLSX, or paste a table. Agentforge profiles it, then answers your question by querying it with SQL. Every number comes from a query you can see; evidence tables and charts are built from the query results, not from the model.
  • Ask follow-ups on the same dataset, and come back to it later from Saved datasets.

Finance

  • Your figures, computed in code. Paste figures and confirm the line items, type them in, or pick a saved dataset. Margins, growth, runway, breakeven, and NPV / IRR are calculated by Agentforge; the model only writes the narrative.
  • No invented numbers. Any figure in the brief that does not trace back to your inputs or a computed metric is removed and pointed out.
  • DOCX with real tables for line items, metrics, and totals, plus an assumptions appendix. Rewrite a single section without regenerating the rest.

Documents and Presentation

  • Source material. Paste notes or pick a saved research, data, or finance result, and the draft uses only that material for its facts. A handoff from another mode fills this in for you.

Everywhere

  • Markdown tables now render as real tables in previews and chat answers.
  • Web pages fetched for Research or the Knowledge Base are read over HTTPS only, never from local or private addresses.

macOS (preview)

  • Pick the file for your Mac: Agentforge-0.14.22-mac-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), Agentforge-0.14.22-mac-x64.dmg for Intel. Drag Agentforge to Applications.

  • First launch. The preview build is not signed by Apple, so macOS will say it cannot verify the developer. Open it once like this, then it opens normally:

    • macOS 15 (Sequoia) and later: double-click the app, dismiss the warning, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to Agentforge.

    • macOS 14 and earlier: in Finder, right-click (or Control-click) Agentforge.app and choose Open, then Open again.

    • If it still refuses, run this in Terminal and try again:

      xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Agentforge.app

  • Keychain. Agentforge stores the key that protects your saved settings in the login Keychain. When macOS asks, choose Always Allow so you are not asked again.

  • Video editing needs ffmpeg. The macOS preview does not bundle it. Install it once with Homebrew (brew install ffmpeg); Chat, Documents, Research, Data, Finance and Presentation work without it.

  • Closing and quitting. Closing the window keeps Agentforge in the Dock; click the Dock icon to come back. Cmd+Q quits and stops any video work still running.

  • Updates on macOS are manual for now. The Updates panel will point you here; download the new .dmg and drag it over the old app. Your settings and workspaces stay.

  • Please report anything odd on macOS on the issues page, with your macOS version and chip. This is the first macOS build and it has not been through the same testing as Windows.

Agentforge 0.14.2

Videos

  • The cited video-prompt templates now also live in the Videos studio, right under the prompt bar. Picking one fills the prompt and sets the aspect ratio and duration to match; category filters and source citations work the same as in Edit.

Agentforge 0.14.1

Edit

  • Starter media — the Promo, Talk, Reel, and Square starters now open with sample clips and a music bed already on the timeline, fully offline. Swap any clip for your own footage.
  • Prompt templates — 19 cited video-prompt templates in four categories (promo, talking-head, reel, square) with source links and prompting tips. Picking one fills the prompt and duration; templates work with any model.
  • Generate button stays on screen in small windows.

Updates

  • The app now checks this repository for new versions: Settings → Check for updates, then Update and restart installs in place.
  • Update problems show a short, readable message instead of a raw error dump, and details are kept in a local log.
  • An update can no longer offer an older version than the one installed.

Fixes

  • Installing an update no longer races the app shutdown.
  • Update check and download failures recover cleanly; the panel stays usable.
