Added
- Added a full refresh on page turn for e-ink screens: after a page turn the screen briefly flashes a solid color to clear ghosting. Color, interval and duration are adjustable. Gallery modes only.
- Added a ripple page turn for iReader e-readers: tap and key page turns in gallery modes use the device's own ripple effect, with adjustable speed. The option only appears on supported devices.
- Auto page turning can now scroll continuously in continuous reading modes, at an adjustable speed. Touching or scrolling takes over, and auto scrolling picks up again shortly after you let go.
- While auto page turning is running, speed / interval controls and a stop button appear above the bottom bar.
- Added "Keep screen on while reading" to the reader settings, which keeps the screen on for the whole reading session (mobile only).
Changed
- Auto page turning now pauses while the menu, a popup or another page is open, or the app is in the background, and continues when you return.
- Auto page turning now keeps the screen on while it runs (mobile only).
- Auto page turning now waits for a page that is still loading, and restarts its countdown after you turn a page yourself.
- The app now runs on iOS 15.1 and later; it previously required iOS 16.
Fixed
- Fixed the app crashing on launch on iOS 15 devices.
- Fixed auto page turning sometimes stopping on its own, with no notice, while the next chapter was loading. It now stops only at the end or when a chapter fails to load, and shows a notice.
Removed
- No features were removed in this release.
