Tabel 1.6.1

Tabel 1.6.1 fixes synchronization between manually installed copies of the extension.

Fixed

  • Downloadable ZIP packages now preserve the configured public manifest key.
  • Unpacked installations now use the same stable extension ID on every computer.
  • Chrome Sync data can therefore synchronize between computers signed in to the same Google Account.
  • Release validation now rejects a package if its public key is missing or changed.

Important for existing manual installations

Installations created from older ZIP packages may have different extension IDs. Export a JSON backup before replacing them, install Tabel 1.6.1 on each computer, and import the backup once on the primary computer.

The temporary public key will be replaced with the official Chrome Web Store public key before Store publication.
