v0.18.8
Highlights since v0.18.7
- Vector engine moved to a self-contained WebAssembly pipeline. Installing no longer pulls native binaries or an unused GPU runtime on Linux, and a failed dependency install can no longer take the whole feature down with it. The download now reports byte progress with stall and overall timeouts, and only a corrupt archive is retried. Vectors are bit-compatible with the previous engine.
- /config opens an entry menu: pick a provider from the shortcut directory, set one up manually, or configure image generation. /config diy and /config image keep their direct paths.
- /mcp uninstall is honest again. Servers contributed by a plugin or declared by a project-level config are tagged and refused with the file that owns them, and a removal that would come back after restart is reported as a failure instead of a success.
- Concurrent writes to the same file are serialized, so parallel edits from one batch or from sibling sub-agents cannot lose an update. Different files still write in parallel.
- An abnormal exit is reported once on the next launch with a pointer to /sessions. Clean exits and terminal hangups stay silent.
- New /hotkeys (keyboard shortcut reference) and /copy (copy the last reply to the clipboard) commands.
- Dependency install scripts are denied by default: adding one is now an explicit, reviewed change.
- Fixed two runtime issues found after the first rollout: the /config menu choice was dropped when the panel was restored, and the shortcut list stayed in the language it was first translated in.
- Workspace version bumped to 0.18.8.
